I am extremely picky about face/lip products but really like this. I primarily use it as a lip balm & on my scars & cuticles but the possibilities are endless. It is very smooth, absorbs quickly and the subtle smell is great. I am always trying new products in search of the perfect one and this just may be it. It works well and is a bargain.

Great for Blemishes

This stick is a great alternative to lotions so for travel, it;s convenient. I am a light packer so products like this get my vote. I rub it mostly on knees and elbows but this can be used ANYWHERE. When my lios are dry and I dint want a colour or gloss, this is great. The stick itself last a while. but since I have dry skin, I use it often.

This is the best make-up remover especially for the lipstick that wears for 24 hours or more! You rub it on and then wioe off the make-up..it's that simple and your face and lips are moisturized as well...I love it!

This has the most delightful smell and works. I use it everywhere but specifically on my heels and feet before going to bed after an application of Stridex mazimum strength pads to prevent and treat dry feet. Works wonderfully!

Based on other reviews I purchased this product. It does not absorb easily and it smells like chocolate gone bad. I ended up using it on my feet and it didn't absorb at all and stuck to my socks or sheets. At least it is fairly inexpensive, because I tossed it out.

My son loves this stuff. Athletic and hey, gets face injuries.

Great lip moisturizer.

While this is supposed to be a general skin product as opposed to a lip product, it is formulated more like a lip balm. It's not nearly as easy to apply as a more liquid cream. But it smells wonderful and, while I can certainly feel it on my skin for some time after application, it's not an irritating greasy feel.

The interesting thing about this product is that it's not just marketed as a lip balm/chapstick. It's used as a spot treatment for dry skin and rough marks as well. Very smart advertising, Palmer's! Cocoa butter does help with all those issues. I'm glad to see that they haven't limited themselves by having this product labeled as a plain lip product. The half-oz size is great, too. This is a thick tube and with just two swipes your lips are covered. You get a lot of product for your money. It smells heavenly. The cocoa scent isn't too strong; it's just right. I was expecting it to be a flesh tone/neutral brown color when I first popped open the lid. I appears as though Palmer's uses the deodorized/processed type of cocoa butter because this stick is white. Cocoa extract is the first ingredient, however, so it is something of a trade-off. Maybe in manufacturing cost? On the lips it is divine. Not too shiny and not too matte. Would make a great primer and lip protector to wear under lipstick. For my own personal use I think I'm going to push the product out into a bowl, mix it with more pure cocoa butter(the raw kind), heat it up, mix it, then pour it back into the applicator when it is nearly cooled. The second ingredient in the product is mineral oil and the third is microcrystaline wax. I prefer a thicker lip balm than what these two ingredients can help create. As much as I like the product I really think I have to give it an 8.5 on a 10 point scale. I would have liked to have seen this with a higher butter content than a synthetic ingredient such as mineral oil.
