Buy the value duo of C-serum and A-bomb if you can and don't forget the transport pads. I just re-purchased these two plus the transport pads. I use the transport pads twice a day. I have been cutting the transport pads into 1/4 size (just enough for my face and neck), but I think I'll use 1/2 a pad so I can apply the solution to my face, neck and HANDS. In addition I use the C serum and A-bomb. These three treatments together have my skin looking better than it has looked since before the start of puberty! I had some small pimples appear in the first 2 weeks, but they have since cleared. My recently appearing age spots/freckles are fading in just a few weeks use. Also a great surprise is the horizontal line/wrinkle between my eyes that I have had for years has now vanished. My furrow lines are fading too. These products are by far the best over-the-counter products I have ever used. They are pricey, but since they work (unlike many of the other products I have spent hundreds, if not thousands on) I have to say they are well worth it. In fact, I have a second order in. I purchased the C-serum A-bomb combo and some more transport pads. I use the Cerave cleanser which is much cheaper and feels the same. I use a different sunscreen for oily skin. I find the Somme sunscreen too greasy for my oily skin.

I switched to the (very expensive) Somme line about four months ago. I have sensitive skin that is also prone to blackheads and mild acne. In the past, other products targeting acne have been way too harsh, and have caused redness, blotchiness, itching, and scaling, even after months of continued use (often these symptoms go away with continued use). With Somme, I had a very mild uptick in acne within the first month. During the second month, I noticed no changes whatsoever. It was only towards the end of the third month of daily use that my skin noticeably improved--so much so that friends, family, and co-workers regularly comment on it. What bugs me about the line (and this overpriced product in particular) is that some containers last a while and others do not. This bottle of serum never makes it past 4 weeks, no matter how little I use (in part because the pump causes a lot of wastage), but I only need to replace the face wash and A-bomb every 8-10 weeks. Like others, I cut the Transport Pads in half, which has no ill effects and makes them last twice as long. They still run out sooner than the wash or A-bomb. I wish Somme would repackage their products into nicer bottles that each contain enough product for, say, 8 weeks, and which run out roughly at the same time. FYI, I don't this product alone would be of any use without at least A-bomb and the Transport pads. I know several people who use their own face wash rather than Somme, and seem to have the same effects, so I think you can easily save some money on the face wash and use whatever you like.

I love this product. It is most effective when used with the entire line of products...well at least the transport pads and A-Bomb. I saw a definite difference in skin tone and texture. Very pricey. If I had to go with just some of their products I would opt for the A-Bomb.

I have been using the somme line for 2 years and have been very happy with it. Less break outs for sure!

I really have never had a problem with blemishes whatsoever until I moved to Las Vegas, where there is really hard water and it's super dry. My skin all of the sudden would break out randomly with big red blemishes that were under the skin so you couldn't pop them, you just had to deal the entire week it took to get rid of them. Once they were gone, they would leave marks/scars that made it look like I was broken out all of the time! I would always have blackheads (i have very small pores) so it was impossible to clear them all out without causing real damage. I had used Somme Institute before I knew that it was good stuff, but it's expensive. Now that I'm out of college and working I can afford it and I will never use anything else. It's been about 3 weeks now. Blemishes are gone completely. The red scars left behind are starting to fade, my skin is seriously radiant. I used to wear base and powder everyday, but now I wear only a little bit of mineral powder. My skin's so much better that people who would never notice (or care about) stuff like that have commented on how nice my skin looks, like some of my engineer co-workers. I swear if they notice ANYTHING like and actually make a comment about it, it really is saying something! Hope that helps make up your mind. P.S. I cut the Transport pad into two pieces to make them last longer, it seems to not be affecting the results.

I love this line. I'm 40 and I saw it at a spa after getting some microdermabraision. I bought the travel size version to try out for a month (which I recommend doing, as some people may be be sensitive to it). Anyway, my combination skin which was formerly very dull, grey and lifeless, now glows. What's more, my freckles came back, pores seem tighter, and the overall tone is brighter. The travel kit ran out of transport pads and serum first, and I have to say each product is important for the overall effect. I wouldn't just use one or two or substitute.

My skin never 'glowed' before using this system. I had hormonal/cystic acne and was recommended this line by my facialist. It is miraculous. I told her my goal was to feel like I didn't need makeup. For the first time since I was 16 (I'm 30) this is a reality.

I have sensitive skin and am prone to whiteheads and blemishes. I have tried a number of products. I bought the Somme product line on recommendation from my aesthetician. After 2 weeks of using the 5-step system morning and night my skin texture, the whiteheads and blemishes improved so much that I'm never going back. It's well worth the cost, but I do recommend using the whole line as instructed. I've tried swapping out products and it doesn't work together.

I finished the entire bottle, and did not see any noticable differences in my skin. I do want to note that I did not use their other accompanying products.

I have been using all of the Somme products for almost 3 years with exception to the cleanser and SPF protection. The cleanser does not effectively remove make-up, and I have chosen a sunscreen with a higher SPF that is more effective while in the sun and water. As for the other products, I am completely satisfied with the results. I have combination skin (dry in some areas and oily in others). For the first month I noticed an increase in break outs, but now blemishes are virtually gone. I have had maybe one blemish in the last year. My face is smoother, softer, and almost all dark spots are gone. I am highly satisfied with these products.
