after multiple uses, & that is a LOT to apply, it improves somewhat, albeit the result quite mediocre. also it does nothing if the cloggin is caused by hair. but i don't want to be too harsh on it. i have yet to find a green drain opener that works as well as those nasty commercial stuff. it's not easy to be green.

I wanted an all natural drain cleaner that was safe for the environment, but that actually works! The instructions for use of this product require a lot to begin with, and then don't expect it to dissolve completely like they tell you to make sure that you should do. Also, you must leave it in drain for 24 hrs. Don't plan on bathing or using the sink for awhile.

Did not meet my expectations.

Oh dear. I really wanted this product to work. I liked the idea of an all natural product to keep my frequently clogged drains clear. I followed the instructions, word for word, starting with the simple drain maintenance. My drain was not in terrible shape to begin with, but after the first use of this product, the drain got a little slower. I did a second treatment, then a third, then several more, increasing the amount of time before flushing the drain and each time the drain got slower. Finally, the drain just didn't drain at all. So, I tried the full on drain unblocker and waited for longer than 24 hours before flushing with water. No luck at all. I ended up buying liquid plumber, which took care of my problem right away. I'm not sure why this didn't work for me (I followed the directions exactly) and why it worked for others. I won't be using this again on my drain, but I do like the suggestions from other reviews for other uses. If you get this, have a backup plan in case it doesn't work.

This was just okay - did not clear up drain totally but the slow emptying did speed up a little. I didn't like how you had to wait 24 hours to use the drain though!

Best for drain maintenance. If you have a really tough clog, this stuff doesn't work at all. But, if you use a little bit periodically, it keeps the drains pretty clear.

This product didn't work for me at all. I waited the entire 24 hours for it to work on both the shower drain and the sink drain, and didn't work on either one. I'd give it one star, but I do appreciate the fact that it's all natural.

I love to know that I am not getting harmful fumes in my house or flushing toxic products in the environment. This product works! Don't expect it to work immediately, but its does the job.

Does not do anything to get rid of hair, which must be the #1 cause of clogged shower drains, I think. But, as long as I use a filter to keep hair out of the drain, this does keep my VERY narrow, VERY old drain in my apartment flowing smoothly. It's very good at eating up anything except hair.
