Pros: Absorbs Quickly, Long Lasting, Smells Great
Describe Yourself: Brand Buyer
Best Uses: After Shower/Bath, Bedtime, Deep Moisturization, Winter Dryness
Bottom Line: recommended
I bought this for my DH because he works in construction and I wanted him to have natural remedies. He loves the muscle and healing balms and I have been using the sleep balm.I rubbed the sore muscle rub on his shoulders and it smelled so good and he said that he got immediate relief. He's been using the healing salve on his blistered hands, and he is getting results.Nice package, but quite expensive for the size of the tins. [$]I will purchase this for my DH on special occassions.Very impressed!

Pros: All natural, Goes On Smoothly, Moisturizes Well, Smells Great, Softens Skin
Cons: Too Greasy or Heavy
Describe Yourself: Budget Buyer
Best Uses: After Shower/Bath, Bedtime, Deep Moisturization, Dry/Chapped Skin, Eczema, Winter Dryness
Bottom Line: recommended
I can honestly say that discovering the Badger company has changed my out-look on body and skin care. This is a neatly wrapped, cute, and overall great boxed set for anyone looking for some natural, no-nonsense body care. I LOVE how every bit of ingredients used is completely organic and therapeutic. You can use any one of these 3 as a balm for dry skin since they all have extra virgin olive oil as the main ingredient (I actually used the healing balm to help cure my eczema/flaky skin!) . I also use the healing balm as a lip balm, on rough patches of skin (hand, legs, anywhere), and it also works wonderfully to shine and moisturizes my hair! For the sleeping balm I rub a bit on my temple, neck and lips in the night for a soothing subtle aroma to ease stress. The muscle rub is amazing at easing muscle tension, though it isn't a miracle cure, it really works to relax my sore muscles after sports and exercise sessions! Highly recommended!!

I bought the set specifically because of the Healing Balm, which works miracles on blisters. I was pleasantly surprised by the Sleep balm, which gives off a nice subtle but soothing lavendar scent. I haven't noticed the Sore Muscle Balm easing the aches in my muscles, but the gingery scent is pleasantly spicy. If/when my Healing Balm runs out, I will definitely buy more.

This set is a fun way to try a variety of badger balms. I love the way they smell (although my husband thinks the healing balm smells like ben-gay), and I like using them. I do find all three of the balms to be a bit greasy, and use them mostly just at bedtime. They are moisterizing, and have good staying power overnight. I don't know if the sleeping balm really works - I'm not a troubled sleeper - but I do like the way it smells and put it on my lips and temples before going to bed.

These work much better than I expected them to. The sleep & sore muscle balms help me get to sleep & avoid strong medicines somewhat & the scents are really nice. When feet, arms, hands, or joints are hurting from fibromyalgia or arthritis or swelling from retained water, the healing balm (or healing massage oil) sometimes entirely takes away the pain for me and 3 of my friends so now we keep it with us all the time to apply whenever we start to hurt (I've used up 4 small healing balm and massage oils) and am ordering more. The lip balms are great too, & when I used the healing gardener's soap on my face accidentally it didn't bother my sensitive skin (great exfoliator when used just like a regular soap in the shower - don't rub, avoid eye area, & rinse "delicate" areas well). Badger's aromatic winter balm smells good & works better than Vick's to keep sinuses and chest open.

The only tin I really use with any frequency is the sleep balm. I rub a bit on my temples and on the frown line between my eyebrows :) and it smells nice and helps me drift off to sleep. The massage/sore muscle one wasn't strong enough to really work on its own, but the massage feels good. I usually go for the more analgesic cremes for my shoulder; a vanilla rub from my local store works great (aloelife) they have a website. The hand therapy one is never moisturizing enough for me--but it's a mild treatment. I usually need a Lubriderm type lotion. I still gave this 4 stars because the sleep balm is nice, and any help I can get drifting off to sleep is welcome!

I have the sore muscle balm and the sleep balm and also the foot balm, which is the absolute best for sore feet. I am a diabetic with peripheral neuropathy, and it literally takes most of the pain away when applied and massaged in at night before sleeping. Whatever herbs and spices they put in it, really warms the foot and makes it tingle with relief afterwards. The sleep balm is very nice too, as it does help to calm you and it smells wonderful, especially when applied to the upper lip so that you can smell the lavender in it. I sure hope that drugstore.com gets more of the Badger Foot Balm in stock so I don't have to buy it elsewhere...

I got this set free as a gift offer here at drugstore.com; to me these were close to useless. They smell like olive oil and edible spices -- it's like rubbing food products on your skin. Although I am sure they work, the scent was unbearable for all three.

I use all of these on my feet and heels as a lip balm, under eye cream, and a cuticle cream. But don't use the sore muscle rub on the lips!

The sleep balm is soothing, the healing balm calms my sore hands when the skin gets rough, and I used the muscle balm on a sprained ankle while camping and the pain and swelling were much more reduced the next day than I expected. They are oil based, so if "greasy" textures bother you, try using just a little at bedtime. I find a little bit works effectively and doesn't get all over the sheets or seem wasted.
