I had used this product for a long time , but was unable to find it anymore in local pharmacies. It is the best acidolophus product I have used out of all the ones I tried. It comes in a capsule form, which is absorbed more easily by digestive track. It really helps irratable bowel syndrome by putting back the good bacteria into your digestive system. It is 100 mg per capsule, which is hard to find. I was glad to be able to get 150 capsules for less money than 100 capsules; which is how it was sold the last time I had bought it locally. the only slightly downside; is that it has to be refrigerated after opening, which makes it a little problem when traveling...needs to be kept cold or looses it's "active ingrediant". I just use a insulated lunch bag with several ice packs in it until I get to a refrigerator. I never had a problem with it not working when I did this.

I tried this brand because it was less expensive than the two other brands I use. I found it less effective at keeping my system on an even keel. In addition, probiotics are a great travel companion for easing travel digestive issues but these require refrigeration, making them a bad option for travel.

Guess I didn't read carefully before buying but I am finding it really annoying, given my hectic life, to have to take this 3 times a day and 1/2 hour before meals. Other similar products out there are taken with meals, or, better yet, once a day. Even when I have taken, doesn't seem to work. I was previously using papaya enzyme, and those worked better for me. I'm going to get a one-a-day form and/or eat probiotic yogurt.

Does not cause stomach problems, helps prevent overgrowth from antibiotics.

This product provides healthy bacteria in your body whenever you have to take an antibiotic that kills ALL the bacteria, both good and bad. It also prevents yeast infections in women when taking antibiotics. Most doctors just can't ( or won't) admit that this inexpensive product is so beneficial! !

I take one capsule in the morning and find that that's enough for the product to work for me. It's also cost effective.

i take a lot of medications for an immune disorder and would get frequent yeast infections which i would then have to take more medications for. Since taking acidophilus - no more y east infections!!! doesn't get any better that THAT

I have issues with constipation. I'm taking five pills a day for a week as recommended by a famous tv doc. I'll cut back to one a day but for now it's working great, I haven't had issues since the first 24 hours.

I try never to run out of these.
