These really work a thousand times better than those squishy cone things. It's nice to shut out the world 22 db at a time. I don't hear the car alarm false starts across the street anymore so thanks Mack, whoever you are.

These earplugs do work in reducing surrounding noise. Only problem is they have to be "balled up" before insertion into ears and as I have long hair, my hair gets stuck to the wax.

Hi! I am noise sensitive, so I use this product, when I sleep or if my neighbors are being inconsiderate, because it molds to my ear and effectively blocks out most noise. It also stays in and does not fall out during sleep. This is much more effective than the foam earplugs by far.

This is the only earplug I have used that has blocked virtually all sounds that prevent me from sleeping. Since my husband complains that I have "ears like a bat" (in terms of sensitivity, not shape!), this is a must-have product for me. I don't hear the trash trucks in the morning, or my husband showering and getting ready for work. I even use them at work, to block out the various noises associated with working in close proximity to noisy colleagues in a cube farm.

I'm a light sleeper and these are great. Just make sure not to shove them in your ear - it will give you an ear ache. And replace every 3 days if you are using them for sleep all night.
