I put this on when I go to sleep. I noticed that there was a hard cardboard part on the bridge of my nose. When I woke up, I had a red rash right there. I don't want my night time mask to make me break out or cause redness to my face. I will not ever buy this product again.

Flimsy cardboard and cheap cloth- this is not the Mak eye shield this website used to sell, but a cheap copy by another company with a similar name.

Bring back Mak products, they sell the best sleep mask ever!

I use the Shut-Eye Shade Premium Sleep Mask on a daylily basis. Before I had it, I used to suffer from headaches, cause I work infront of a computer all day long. Now, thanks to Mack's shut-eye I sleep perfectly and wake up as a new person. I used all kinds of shut-eyes, but none were as effective as this one. Also, I like the additional padding. It's pressing over the eye, which has a calming effect too. Last thing - it is lasting for long. My first Mack's shut-eye was used for over a year, even after I washed it in a washing machine...

I highly recommended it!!!1

I don't think my head is particularly big, but even with the elastic straps adjusted to the maximum size, it's too tight. Also, the elastic straps are of poor quality and will likely not hold up to daily use. Finally, the texture on the inside of the mask is rough. I have used other sleep masks, and this one is the worst.

A bit uncomfortable, especially if you sleep on your side. Mask should be made of softer material and the hooks on the straps are press up against your head at night.

I depend on this mask for two reasons --
One: When I get migraine headaches, I am extremely photo phobic and the tiniest bit of light is excruciatingly painful.
Two: I sometimes sleep at odd hours, and I cannot sleep unless the room is pretty dark. Even with shutters on my windows, I still need an excellent eye mask to block the remaining light.
This mask is amazing! I have tried many others, including some that cost far more than this one.
I do not find it uncomfortable in the least! The extra bit of fabric at the bridge of the nose is critical to keep light from sneaking in, and it feels soft, too. The bit of what some reviewers call "stiffness" or "cardboard" actually prevents the cloth from touching my eyelids; that's a huge improvement over any other mask I have used.
Try it! Blocks light like nothing else! Mine has lasted for years!

This is basically a piece of cardboard wrapped in the material. Does not conform to face - too stiff. I returned it. I have felt much better eye masks before, this wasn't one of them.

I loosened the straps, which are adjustable but I was still left with marks on my face from the fit of the mask. I am a side sleeper, not sure if that makes a difference. It does keep out all light.

The eye shades do keep the light out. The shades were made poorly, the bottom strap keeps coming undone when it is put into the round plastic piece. I will never buy this product again.

Works as advertised. I did find that because it's rather large, I had to adjust it a couple times to find the right fit so that the padding at the bottom of the mask didn't bug me.
