This is the second order I've made of this product. I will admit that when I first opened and inspected the mask I was disappointed that the primary construction of the mask was cardboard. Having used numerous high end masks, I couldn't imagine this one to be effective. I was wrong. The padding around the lower portion of the mask serves to both balance the mask on your face and eliminate light entering from that area. The balance also insures that no light enters from the top or sides. The mask is comfortable and effective. I love it.

FIt is everything with eye protection - good fit usually means comfort as well. Seals big noggins' quite well and its the best I've ever used.

I wanted a satin mask to sleep in. This mask is satin but it's center is cardboard. Not condusive to sleeping in if you move at all. Perhaps this mask would work for travel but not for every night. I didn't find the nose piece blocked out the light because it's attached to a rigid surface. Very disappointed.

I work nights, this perfect for daytime sleep and the price is right.

I have trouble sleeping when there is any light coming in the bedroom. Then I bought Macks Shut Eye sleep mask and it really keeps all the light out making me sleep so much more soundly. (Also good for them weekend naps)

It block out light totally! No more sleepless due to light sensitivity. Pad gets more flexible and soft once you break it in - highly recomend it!

Long-time night worker. This mask is the best I've tried. It lets in NO light whatsoever. Like instantly turning the brain off!

1. Nose area gets very sensitive after a few seconds, due to cardboard filling of the mask and padded bottom (which supposedly doesn't let the light in)

I bought this to send to an overseas migraine sufferer, but didn't waste my postage in mailing it abroad. I was not able to tolerate this mask on my face for five seconds, let alone wear it overnight. The rigidity is the most unnatural sensation in the world. I can only think of this mask for use in a magic show, or perhaps for game show contestants! Caveat (pre)emptor!

My husband uses this mask to help him sleep since he works nights. This is one of the best ones he has used. He especially likes the adjustable strap.
