I love this product! It is the best I have found, even within the VO5 family of products. For those who have found it to be "heavy, greasy, etc." I suspect they are using too much. When a small amount is applied to damp hair (after shampooing), the product works great!

I've been using this product for about four years now. It's just right when you need a little bit of a detangler, defrizzer and smoother in your hair. My only caution is to use just a small amount. I like the light fragrance, too.

I do not like gels or sprays and have tried at least 10 other "leave in conditioners" and have never gotten the results that I do with V05 Sheer Dressing. It has hold, shine and defrizzes, but at the same time stays soft. All I have to do is rewet my hair in between washes. [...] quit carrying it and I looked elsewhere and could not find it until I Googled and found it at DrugStore.com. Makes my curly hair softer, smoother, and shinier. Don't be scared away by the strong/gross smell this has while it's still in the tube--when it's actually on your hair it doesn't smell bad (I was surprised by this).
