i use it for my regular loads and whites. i never use bleach anywhere in my house, and nothing looks worse for not using it. my whites are white. i also use it , after i use some biokleen laundry detergent to clean blood out of cloth. just like new again! if it doesn't make something as white as you want. soak it at a higher concentration for a day. if still not white, you messed up the material too much. enjoy the new rag ;-) but seriously, i love this stuff!

This works great, even on cloth diapers, and doesn't smell harsh like other similar cleaners. I like that the ingredients are simple and natural. We will keep using it.

Use it on antique linens and every day clothing. Don't have to worry about bleach "accidents".

This is great for stains on upholstery, carpet and clothes. The only drawback with this stuff is that it is a powder, therefore if you use it in lieu of bleach in the washing machine, you must wait till the tub fills with water, before adding it.

We add it to our laundry and it helps lift stains and dirt (two boys). It also softens our really hard water.

A little expensive, but a great green alternative. It does the job. It is the same as Oxy Clean, but without the little blue mystery beads. Since Oxy Clean won't say what it is I have made the change. Oxy costs less but is environmentally questionable. Since I have septic, a well, and a stream on my property I am very careful about what goes down the drain. I will continue to buy this product and stock up when it goes on sale. Since we work in the woods and live in the woods we tend to come home with very dirty clothes, I wouldn't use it if it really didn't get the dirt out using cold water. Works well when combined with Bio-Kleen soap.

it's important for me to use only natural safe products that don't pollute our waters. but i also like to be able to get things clean and bright and remove stains. i love xox because it does it all -- without killing the fish down stream.

I followed the instructions for laundry and was impressed with the way it removed black coal dirt from white socks. It also removed the dinginess of lights and whites due to bad water. I mixed some in hot water and soaked all the coffe stains out of my kitchen sink. It restored the whiteness to my sink with no scrubbing. Then I mad a paste with some and scrubbed the black marks the aluminium pots leave and with a little elbow grease they came off with out scratching.

I really like this product because I used to be a bleach maniac but hated what it did to the environment and my hands. This stuff is great! I have only used it for laundry and it definitely brightens my whites and it's safe to use on colors for a color boost. The only thing I don't like is that I wish it came with a scoop! Sounds silly (and if I really thought about it, putting a scoop in every bucket would add to costs and waste) but I don't have a scoop so I kind of "eye it" when adding it to my laundry.

I am not impressed with the results of cleaning. Looking at the other wonderful reviews I wonder if it has to do with quality of water.... Anyway, whitening did not happen as expected AND it was actually destroying fabric rather quickly. Lifetime of my linens greatly decreased.
