I would suggest all-natural toothpastes for everyone, especially your kids. All those toothpastes they have now have so much chemicals and unnatural ingredients, you don't know which one to trust. This one my kids like and I like it because it's healthier for them!

Got this for my 4 year olds who still haven't figured out how to spit. This is a nice transitional toothpaste that is not as "clumpy" as some other fluoride-free toothpastes on the market. This is more similar to regular toothpaste in its consistency. Seems to have a nice flavor too.

Poor packaging

I don't have any problems with the toothpaste itself. My 4 year old really likes it and I prefer this over some of the big name brand kids' toothpastes which are overly sticky and sweet. My main complaint is the packaging. The metal tube wears out easily and gets holes. So when you squeeze the toothpaste to put on your toothbrush, it squirts out in various weak spots from the tube causing a huge mess and a lot of waste. We have bought this toothpaste 2 or 3 times and it has happened every time. So I won't buy it anymore. Tom's Mango toothpaste comes in a different container and that has worked much better for us.

When my daughter turned 2, her dentist recommended we switch to flouride toothpaste for children. I bought two tubes of the commercial brands (Spongebob and Dora flavors) and she's always complained that it was too "spicy" and refused to brush. So I decided to try this, and I bought it at my local organics store before ordering it here so that I could return it or exchange it if she didn't like it. The first time I tried to get her to brush, she said it tasted "yucky" but I translated that to mean "different". I told her to try it again, and she did, and then she even asked for more. I've had no problem getting her to brush her teeth since then. Also since it's flouride-free I don't have to worry about her swallowing too much, and it did leave her teeth looking white and clean, so I figure until she gets older and her tastes change and I can introduce the flouride version of this toothpaste, this one will do for now.

I couldn't believe how bad this tasted. My 11 year old daughter isn't big on minty toothpaste, so I bought this. I assummed it would taste good, but it was horrible. I tasted it first and then tricked her into tasting it. Neither of us could stand it!
