I had adult acne, and most things that i would use would would inflame and irritate my skin, which just made the redness worse. My dermatologist recommended this as the percentage of salicylic acid is lower, and so it was much gentler, but controlled my acne. This, along with cutting down my dairy intake, my skin is clearer now than it has ever been.

So thankful!

I cannot speak highly enough about this product, it is my favorite cleanser ever. I have used a lot of brand-name cleansers, like Shiseido, and this one from Aveeno never fails me. It's really light and airy, and a little goes a long way, so the bottle really lasts. My skin is so much smoother, clearer and softer when I use this cleanser. I put a few puffs of this cleanser on a facial cleansing pad in the morning in the shower, and at night, I just use my fingers to apply to my face. It is very effective yet gentle at removing my make-up at the end of the day. My husband loves using this cleanser, too. Highly recommend!

I'm 50+ years old & I recently started breaking out like I was in my teens..."What Happened"? I asked myself. I could not figure out what could be to blame. I knew I had to do something fast as my face was getting worse by the day. I'm talking about large, deep, painful & red cystic pimples...Yuk!!! So I did some on-line research & found a lot of info about Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser and a lot of great reviews too.
So it was a combination of a leap-of-faith and desperation. I didn't even want to leave the house at that point - it was that bad. So I ran out & bought this Aveeno cleanser & it cleared up my face within a couple days. And did so without totally drying me up. This is a great facial cleanser & I recommend it whole heartedly!!! My mom purchased this for me, instead of my regular cleanser. I was afraid of using this, since my skin does not welcome new products very well.. I have been using this for a month over now, and I am surprised..I haven't had a bad breakout since. My skin ALWAYS has some sort of breakout, but since using this, it's reduced to almost no breakouts. (Only the occasional breakouts during the time of month) I'm so glad my mom bought this for me! I will definitely continue to use this.

One thing I do not LOVE is that I noticed it has a very thin consistency. When you pump it, it comes out as foam, so it was a little different from my usual liquid/gel cleanser. So, I usually use about two-three pumps. Anyway, I like using this on my face because it feels very gentle. Makes my skin soft and does not dry out, unlike other cleansers with acne medication ingredients.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this product!

I have oily skin type, I don't need a very strong cleanser in the morning cuz it dries my skin out. This one is gentle enough for morning use. Just it will leave you the feeling of you haven't washed all of it from your face.
