I love this shampoo. it is low lather so I use a little more than normal to clean my hair but low lather means gentle and color safe. The conditioner has ingredients that add strength such as amino acids and protein. I first purchased this in a gift set that came with a conditioner and volume root lifter. I spent hundreds and hundreds trying different shampoos and I found the best is Paul Mitchell. The scent is very light and ideal for people that are scent sensitive. I do not feel my hair is that thicker but my hair feels light and free flowing and hair looks repaired and healthy from the first use. Since is low lather and lower sulfates i do recommend massaging your scalp a little more in the shower

I was given both the Paul Mitchell extra body shampoo and conditioner to try to give my hair body. All I can say is Yuck. It did not give my hair body,and it does not clean well. It left the top of my head looking greasy and it feels like there is a wierd film on my hair weighing it down. My hair is thin, but normally soft. This shampoo has turned my locks into something I can't stand. In fact, after this review, I am going to shower for the second time just to get this stuff out of my hair! Do not Purchase. Waste of money!!

This shampoo never lathered, it was so weird. I thought maybe that was the way it was. Only if it worked! I did not notice any change in the hair, the smell was OK (too fruity for my taste, but pleasant). I had such high expectations but it did not work for me.

My hair is baby fine. using this product has given my hair body i never had with any other shampoo i have used in the past. Believe me ive tried them all. I would suggest this shampoo to any one who has thinnig or fine hair.

I have fine, color treated hair. I love this shampoo- it gives my hair a lot of extra volume, doesn't dry it out or leave it greasy. I alternate this with Paul Mitchell shampoo one which is also terrific.

I love this product (and the extra-body conditioner too). They give my hair the extra body and volume that no other product ever has. And I have had no problems with my hair looking "greasy" if I touch it -- but then I live in a very dry climate.

After all the positive reviews, I am very surprised by how AWFUL this shampoo is. It's supposed to provide "extra body", but my hair actually seems limp and less full -- I am extremely disappointed. Plus I feel like it leaves hair looking "greasy." I usually buy Aveda's Sap Moss shampoo, which isn't much more expensive than this waste of money. AVOID!
