I really like this product. I find the color to be a nice golden tan. I have never had a problem with streaking. You do have to be careful around the toes and ankles. Also, I go easy on the elbows and knees--they tend to get darker. I do tan easy in the sun, but have given that up for health reasons. Donna, Hudson, Wi. June 30, 2006

I love these towels. I do already have some color, so these just truly made me darker and I was complimented on having a natural looking tan many times. The only problem is I did need about 3 applications to see the results, and there was an odor. However, you can shower after 3 hours and then the odor goes away!

WARNING! - You'll have to scrub really hard to get this orange stuff off of you. When I first noticed the tan I got with this product, I was very pleased and I thought it looked great. But when I went in to work the following day and my students all started screaming, "Ew, you look orange!" Kids don't lie about appearances. I thought it created a bit of an orange tone, but I figured I was being paranoid. Not the case. There is definite streaking, it "cakes" up in certain spots, it has an unnatural orange hue, and when it FINALLY begins to disappear, it stays speckled in your pores. My advice - keep a loofah handy for when you turn orange.

This product is great! I find that if I use my cream sunless tanner once a week and then use the towelettes in between for touch-ups, it saves time and money. I use just the towelettes on my face, hands and feet for a more natural look.

True that the product does not smell when you are using it, but like all self tanners your skin smells like old Fritos for 1-2 days after application. It was orange somewhat but not an unrealistic color and does streak because it's invisible when you apply it; you cannot see where you may have missed until several hours later. Tan took over 12 hours to fully develop; then the streaks were oh so obvious. But the suggestion to rub the towels both vertically and horizontally should help. I probably could have been more careful, but I'll pass and use another product.

The only reason this product doesn't get a 5 is that it's pricey. But I've tried a ton of self-tanners over the years, and I'm fair-skinned. None of them work as well or give me the natural color that Tan Towel does. My last product was Estee Lauder which isn't cheap itself. And when I took into consideration the drying time of Estee Lauder (waaaay longer than Tan Towel), the number of days it would stay on (fewer than Tan Towel), and the ease of application (waaaay more difficult than Tan Towel), I decided that TT is a much better buy for me.

If "0" stars could be given, this product earned it for ZERO RESULTS. The towels dry too quickly and very little color is achieved even when several towels are used. I have used many self tanners and this one receives my poorest rating. Waste of time and money!

This product is great. Compared to all other self-tanners out there, this is great. I do agree that it sucks having to use more than one towel per application, but it lasts a long time. The color wasn't perfect, but much better than any other self-tanner out there, and I didn't have any problems with streaking at all. Definitely a good alternative to skin cancer!!!

I don't get how people can honestly rate this product as great. The color is NOT natural looking, and I did streak and spot very badly. I did not rush in the application and took care before applying. I can honestly say for the first time I fell for the marketing gimmicks.
