I hate the new forumula....smells really bad. I used the old formula for years and cannot find it anywhere in the stores. Bought 2 cases and sent it all back.

This spray used to be the very best I had ever found. Earlier this year, the formula was changed, and it is awful. I can't get past the bad smell myself. Please, Swarzkopf, change this back to what it used to be. I will never buy this hairspray again if it stays as is.

I'm not quite sure who formulated the new and improved but I am sooooo disapponted. It took me years to find a fabulous product and I have now lost it. Can I purchase the old formula somehwere? I'll pay extra!

I LIKED THIS PRODUCT JUST FINE THE WAY IT WAS. I AM NOT SURE WHY CAFFEINE WAS ADDED TO IT. IT KEEPS MY HAIR IN PLACE JUST FINE. I THINK IT DOES HAVE A SLIGHT DRYING EFFECT. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR 3 YEARS. THE HOLDING POWER IS GOOD COMPARED TO OTHER SPRAYS THAT I HAVE USED. I DON'T HAVE TO USE AS MUCH OF THIS SPRAY TO KEEP MY HAIR IN PLACE. I ALSO LIKE THE VOLUMINIZING EFFECT.

I loved the old product, and had used it for years. The new product smells truly horrible and doesn't work nearly as well. I will never buy another bottle of the new stuff. I only wish I knew of something that would come close to the old version. I can hardly believe they thought they had made an improvement to a really outstanding hairspray. Shame on corporate greed!!!!!!

I went to great lengths to get it before. Now, with the changed formula, I literally threw it in the rubbish! Hate it. Gave my hair an overall white layer. UGH!!

This would be great if you wanted to make a mohawk that lasts for about 5 minutes. When you spray it on (aiming at the roots of course, bc otherwise what's the point of the "root-stimulating caffeine" ingredient), it holds your hair mid-air forcing you to run a brush through the hair shaft to take away the bride-of-boogedy look. It still feels like your hair has more volume, but about 5-10 minutes later, your hair is right back where it started- hanging against your head. And it has a terrible smell, akin to singed hair and nail polish remover, which you can still smell after it dries. Not worth your time or money.

The originial formula worked great on my fine thin hair. Now with the "caffeine" formula, the product is dry, builds up, and makes hair feel like straw. It totally eliminates any shine! I would never buy this product again. Used the original formula for years, but was not warned about this change when I ordered a large quantity that I am now stuck with!

I am so disappointed that my life-saver hairspray is no longer available. I am hording my last can for emergencies but I can not use the new formula. It made my hair like straw. It didn't hold my hair in place. It smelled bad. I can't style my hair with it since it doesn't hold. Please, give us back the old formula. I will continue buying a dozen cans at a time if you do!!
