The 4 Star rating is cumulative...meaning over a long period of time. This product USED to be the best until about 5 months ago. They changed the formula and now it is horrible, 6 months ago it was a 5 star product and couldn't be beat. But then they "improved it" and actually ruined it. It stinks, it's heavy, it's sticky. Didn't used to be that way. Looks like all the faithful users over the years will now be switching to another product... so new users beware. You WON'T be getting a 5 star product, so don't even waste your money. It's really horrible. Look at the dates of these reviews and you'll see what I mean.

I have been using the orginial product for years and loved it. I live in the deep south with lots of humidity and I have fine thin hair, and the original formula did a great job making my hair thicker and held up great in the heat. I always buy a dozens can when I purchase this product, so I have been stuck with the new formula now for a while and can not afford to throw away any cans, thank goodness I am down to two cans. Will not be re-ordering. Please bring back the old formula!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use this spray every day. There are areas of high winds in my neighborhood so I was surprised to see how well Bogo works - no need to recomb my hairdo into a new style because the wind straighten out all the waves I put in with my hair dryer. The downside is that if I had a boyfriend who likes to run his fingers through my hair - good luck! And the smell is awful til you get used to it.

I have worn thicker fuller hairspray for years. It's been great ordering by the case from the website. My last order returned a case full of a new formula... I'm so upset. I've looked everywhere for the old formula with no success. The new formula stinks terribly, drys my hair to where it breaks off badly. I thought it was only me that found it to smell like bug spray but it does really bad. Has anyone found a product to use in place of the original formula of Thicker Fuller Hairspray? I am trying to find something that hold my hair as fully and well as that did. I'm not fond of Big Sexy Hairspray, as it weights down badly in heat. PLEASE BRING BACK OUR HAIRSPRAY FORMULA. If you need a marketing stradegy change, simply change the can and let your customers write reviews and give testimonies. Because the new version is going to go out of business fast.

PLEASE bring back the OLD formula.

Wow...pretty clear how WE all feel about this "new formula!"It's awful. I am so bummed. I LOVED the old formula and have been a loyal buyer for years. This company utterly transformed a fabulous product us gals would buy at almost any price, into something we won't use for free. The smell is quite nasty, and --while the old stuff made my fine hair look absolutely thick, fluffy without stickiness, and beautiful -- the new stuff is merely tacky and does nothing nice for my hair at all. Sticky. Stinky. Ineffective. Heavens [...]They've lost a LOT of customers -- and deservedly so. I am another.

I have used so many hairsprays and none have done such a good job! This is truly a great product that keeps my hairstyle for hours and makes my hair look terrific! Much like the conditioner, the hairspray makes a world of difference for my hair. If you could see the before and after you would not believe your eyes. People compliment me on having a full head of hair. I am very thankful to the company that makes such wonderful products!!!!

WHEN THIS PRODUCT WENT FROM THE LIQUID SPRAY TO THE SPRAY CAN IT WENT FROM GREAT TO ACCEPTABLE. THEN IT WAS REFORMULATED AND CAFFEINE WAS ADDED, PLUS CELL U PLEX (WAS IS THAT ANYWAY?). BIG MISTAKE. IT IS VERY DRYING NOW, TERRIBLE SMELL. IT IS WEIGHTLESS FOR FINE HAIR AND MORE AFFORDABLE THAN FAT CAT TYPE PRODUCTS, BUT YOU'VE RUINED A PERFECT PRODUCT FOR FINE THIN HAIR. THE NON-AERESOL LIQUID SPRAY WAS PERFECT. SCHWARZKOPF, YOU DID NOT IMPROVE THIS PRODUCT WHEN YOU BOUGHT OUT THE ORIGNINAL COMPANY. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA.

I have fine hair and have used this product for years. The new formula is awful -- it smells like bug repellent. It doesn't hold as well as the old formula either. Unfortunately, I ordered many cans, as I always do, and had to throw them out. I am now using Big Sexy Hair, which is terribly expensive, but does a better job than the new formula of Thicker Fuller Hair, without the offensive odor. This company needs to bring back the old formula.
