I have used this hairspray for years and years and loved it. I always ordered a case at a time since it's not sold in stores anymore. This last shipment was quite a surprise, and not a good one!! I HATE this new spray. It smells bad, and is sticky and too heavy for my hair. It weighs it down, and i get a white buildup that looks like i have dandruff. I am SO DISAPPOINTED. I won't order again and will probably just throw it away. Why did they change something that didn't need changing?

the new caffeine formula has a very bad fish odor, and old coffee smell. Also it did not hold my hair as the old formula did. I used old formula for more than 7 years, and was happy with it, and now I will have to look for some other product. Why would they change a good product with good reviews to this, don't they test the new product, any one who has a nose would never approve it. I hope with all the complaints, the old formula will be back, if not they will lose all of the customers. No women wants to walk around with hair smelling like fish, for the sake of the thicker hair.

I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE BEST HAIRSPRAY I HAVE EVER USED UNTIL YOU RECENTLY CHANGED IT. I WOULD BUY A CASE AT A TIME AND SO WOULD MY MOTHER. I WILL HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE NOW THAT YOU HAVE CHANGED THE PRODUCT. IT REALLY STINKS, ITS NOT LITE ON THE HAIR ANY MORE, IT LEAVES A BUILD UP IN MY HAIR AND ALSO MY MOTHERS. I bought this hairspray based on all the positive reviews and hated it. In fact, I'm throwing it out and buying something else. I have fine, straight hair and I'd like something that holds my hair without weighing it down. This provides the opposite of a natural look, it immediately makes my hair hard and frizzy looking, I can't run my fingers through my hair. It may be better for other hair types or people who like that look, but not for me.

I am sooooo disappointed. I used the original formula for years and loved it. This new formula is terrible! It smells like bug spray, is no longer "weightless", and does not give my hair the shine that the original formula did. PLEASE change it back!!!

I bought this after reading all the glowing reviews and the first thing that turned me off was the awful odor. And it is not lightweight. It leaves my already coarse, straight Asian hair even more heavy than it already is and also very stiff. Because the product is so stiff, your style will stay put, but it will not have any movement to it at all. So if the stiff, plastered look is what you want, this hairspray will guarantee that! Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the product and will not re-purchase in the future.

why did they add a ridiculous smell to this spray that almost made me throw up? I will absolutely never order this product again unless they let me order the old one that did not smell like this. why did they take something that was perfectly fine and add a horrilble smell?

This is NOT new and improved. The older version was so much better. The new improved smells terrible!!!!!! The odor lingers all day!!! This hairspray is very sticky unlike the previous version. Bring back the old formula PLEASE and I will buy again.
