I have been using Burt's Bees Pore-Refining Mask for over 10 years. I have oily/combination skin and used every few weeks, this product is like getting a facial at home for just a couple of bucks per use. It has a refreshing eucalyptus type of smell. I wash my face first with my Aveda face wash, then mix the Burt's Bees mask with a little water and apply to my face and neck. Then I watch TV for 20 minutes or until the mask dries out and gently remove it in a circular motion with a wet facecloth. Apply your moisturizer after. (I use Hempz Aloe which is actually sold as a sunburn relief gel but it is amazing on the face because it has tea tree and peppermint oil as well.) To get even better results, go to the gym before, after, or both and use the steam room and sauna. This mask draws out impurities, leaves your skin super smooth and even, and actually seems to have lasting effects that control oil production. I will always buy this Burt's Bees mask as long as it's around.

after i tried the mask... a few pimples popped out, out of no where.... im scared to use it again... and also theres plenty of other masks that are already made and do not need mixing.

DIFFICULT TO USE BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO MIX WITH WATER, THEN APPLY- I SIMPLY DID NOT EXPECT THIS. NO BIGGIE. MAKES YOUR SKIN FEEL FRESH AND CLEAN. RECOMMENDED!

I tried this mask for the first time and I found that the there is no need to use very much. I used about 1 tea spoon with a little bit of water and applied it over my pace. Immediately, I could feel my skin tighten and toned. The mask smells nice and feels good on the skin. I would buy it again next time.

I havent used it long enough to notice any results, but after the first time using it my sin felt refreshed and tingly. Dont use too much water. Its a powder and you mix it yourself, it doesnt tell you exactly how much to use, but a little water goes a long way.

I got this in a sample size and had to search high and low to find it again!! It took me a time or two to get my water proportion right every time, but that is a small price to pay for a mask that really makes my skin feel softer, smoother, more even, and most importantly clean!! So many masks I've used for oily skin seem to leave their own residue or worse totally dry out my already unbalanced skin causing breakouts instead of the clearing they promise. I've switched my whole skin care line to Burt's Bees and am particularly enjoying how this mask boosts their performance when I want it!

This mask is refreshing and all natural. I have very sensitive skin and this product does not burn or irritate in any way. My pores look smaller and my skin feels rejuvenated after using this product.

You can almost feel the effects as you place the mask on your face. Its hard to measure out how much to use your first few times,but its worth the effort. I wish more came in the jar!

I have been happy with other Burt's Bees products - especially the lip balm and was encouraged to try this product based on the reviews. The mixing effort didn't bother me - I used used a small dish - similar to the size of a soy sauce dish - and mixing was easy. The paste felt fairly nice on the skin and washed off easily after the recommended time. However, the next day my skin broke out on both cheeks - something that never happens to me. To make sure this wasn't some unrelated cause, I waited several weeks and then tried again - sure enough it caused my skin to breakout once more!! Very disappointing. Maybe my skin is just sensitive to one of the ingredients - unfortunately won't be risking this one again.
