This reminds me a lot of Berocca, an effervescent vitamin tablet loaded with B and C vitamins that they've sold for years in Australia. I loved effervescent solutions then, and I was delighted when Airborne brought the same solution to the US. It's convenient to take, and because it dissolves, it's great for when you're getting that puny felling. When you're feeling like you just might be getting sick, big old horse tablet vitamins or those zinc-y powdery lozenges just don't do the trick. And they work as a vitamin as well as to stop-the-sick.

I love this stuff. It really works for me (for some unexplained reason, the orange flavor works better on me than the lemon lime flavor. Don't know why a flavor would make a difference). I've had only one full blown cold in the last two years since I started taking Airborne, but even then I suffered a lot less than the people I caught it from did. I was only sick for a week and a half, while they were sick for 3 to 4 weeks. But what I really love most is it helped my respiratory allergies. I no longer need the OTC decongestants and antihistamines to breath at night. I'd much rather take something natural, especially when it has absolutely no side effects on me, and I don't need it all the time. I recommend that you use only 1/4 to 1/3 cup water to dissolve it. I do have one complaint though, it's sweetened with aspartame; I don't like the taste of aspartame and it's also a little too sweet for my taste. Finally, a cure (well almost) for the common cold!!!

I have been using this product for over a year now and like the boost of wellness formula it offers. I keep it with my travel supplies and take one before heading off on a trip. I like the taste, don't get an upset stomach. I recommend taking it in a small amount of water.

My co-worker swears by this, so I bought some in December to have on hand when the next cold hit me. I'm very susceptible to colds as I have a chronic illness with a compromised immune system. Last week I developed a headache, runny nose, and sore throat, so popped out the first Airborne. I felt better immediately but within 3-6 hours, the symptoms returned. It did nothing to stop the cold, but I kept taking it anyway since it made me feel so much better. Normally I suffer from a tickly throat with coughing spasms during a cold, but one dose of Airborne and that problem disappeared. It definitely reduced the severity of my symptoms and the duration of the cold. I was only sick to the point of staying in for one day, instead of the usual 3-5 days. I'll definitely use it again. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the ridiculous expense, and it gives me diarrhea.

I have no idea why or how this stuff works but it does. My doctor told me it's probably all in my head as he says a multivitamin would be about as much benefit, but I've taken multivitamins and was always catching a cold from my Petri dish of a workplace. I keep this in my purse, in my desk and at home and it definitely works when taken at the first sign of a cold, or like I take it, when I know someone is sick but I haven't felt anything yet. Great stuff. Wish it was cheaper! :-)

I always take it when my nose starts dripping mucus and it works right away within a few hours. I stop sneezing and stop having wet nose. I also gave it to my 3 year old. It works on her everytime. Wish it would be slightly cheaper.

This stuff really helps. But I recommed using it only if you truly feel you are getting sick as it tends to cause diarrhea and/or upset stomach. My family and friends agree. But it really stops a cold in its tracks and reduces the severity of the symptoms. Worth the belly ache.

A friend of mine bought these for me just because he had heard so much about them and was curious. I wasn't sick and took one shortly afterwards just for the health benefits. Pleasant orangey taste. A week later, I flew back home from visiting him and, lo and behold, starting getting a sore throat which I knew meant a cold was coming on. I popped one of these in water and was surprised to find my sore throat gone within a couple hours! I didn't follow the 3-hour directions and my sore throat came back the next morning. I popped another tablet and, again, it went away within hours. I don't know what it does to tame the effects of sore throats and colds -- I'm always skeptical and kind of nervous -- but it seems like a good temporary fix. I will try it throughout my first NY winter to see if it lives up, but so far so good.
