I've been searching for an affordable, close-to-all-natural cleanser for a very long time. The search is over. I'm prone to adult acne at forty, so I need to tackle oil without overly drying. My pores feel and look fantastic after using this product. No acne in sight. Hallelujah!

I have extremely oily skin that is acne prone when left on it's own with plain soap. When I follow a routine of using a sulfur based face wash (I prefer Grandpa's Soap: Thylox), benzoyl peroxide (OXY), and salicylic acid moisturizer (Johnson & Johnson), all use twice a day, my skin stays completely clear and people say I have perfect skin. I recently became concerned that these products are toxic and might have cancerous effects (which later after reading the actual clinical studies found my fears to most likely to be false). So I switched to this product as well as the Kiss My Face Pure and Potent acne gel. In two weeks since, my face has broken out all over with acne and also bumps/mini whiteheads all over. I believe this is mostly due to the acne gel being less effective than BP, however this face wash also did not meet my expectations. I liked that is smelled nice, left a cool feeling on your skin and was easy to wash off without leaving any residue. However, I didn't like that the wash did not lather at all. Even squeezing a large quarter amount of it hardly lathered into foam or bubbles, which as expensive as this is makes it very pricey to do. While most people with dry to medium/normal skin that is not very acne prone might not care, in my experience with my skin type, having lather seems to help draw out more oil and dirt from my skin and help reduce skin irritation by providing a buffer between my skin and my finger tips, and also helps. When using this product, it feels like I'm washing my face with water. Also, washes like sulfur or salicylic acid help your skin shed or turn over by getting rid of dead skin cells on the surface of your skin (which you can feel/see rubbing off on your fingers during your face wash). This helps with acne by preventing hyperkeratinization, or a fancy way of saying pores being clogged by dead skin (look it up in Wiki). This product, while it leaves your face feeling softer, I believe it's doing so by keeping more dead skin cells on your skin. My personal recommendation is that if you have dry to medium/normal skin and your not acne prone (e.g. you are acne prone if you have to use benzoyl peroxide every day or you'll break out), then this product is a very good natural alternative to normal, chemical based face washes. This is probably the vast majority of people. However, if you do oily to extremely oily skin and are acne prone (e.g. BP everyday or else), then avoid this product. It is not a substitute for more effective salicylic acid or sulfur based face washes. I'm not giving up on tea tree oil or natural face products. Moving on to Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Face wash along with their pure tea tree oil. Will post a review of that under same name in several weeks. If pure tea tree oil pure face products don't work, then it's back to BP, sulfur, and s.a. acid. I'll take my chances with the statically insignificant chance of cancer. And keep my cell phone too.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I have sensitive/dry skin and it is very gentle. I can use it every evening and I don't feel like my skin is tight or dry after washing. It has a nice refreshing citrus smell too.

Regular use has minimized breakouts and I have fewer pimples all together. It's amazing - and all natural/cruelty free. You can't beat it.

No, this product is not your "normal" exfoliater - I wouldn't know it was exfoliating by the texture or feel - but I notice my skin is smoother, my blackheads gone. This product is amazing, gentle, and works on my ultra-sensitive acne prone skin. I have done proactiv, nature's cure, every prescription acne medication possible including accutane, and I still have breakouts. This cleanser has helped calm and soothe my skin, and feels wonderful to use - a great relief after using many products that burn and dry my skin out.

This is a really great product, though I do not think that it exfoliates quite like I had anticipated. It says that it does with natural fruit acids, and that may be true, but once or twice a week I will use a peach scrub as well. Other then that, this is a really fresh smelling and softening face wash. I love that it's all natural and that they are a company that does NOT test on animals. I have really sensitive skin and I was worried that I would break-out terribly if I switched up my normal routine but I think my skin thanked me for finally using products that are all natural! I will definitely buy this again.

Smells wonderful and has really helped my complexion.

This is not a facial scrub, but the enzymes exfoliate well. I love how it makes my skin look and feel. I am on my second bottle & will continue to use it. Great product by Kiss My Face!

I use this maybe once or twice a week to really get my face feeling clean. When I first bought it I thought it would be a gritty scrub, but it's actually smooth. It smells terrific.

Even though this isn't your typical exfoliating wash (i.e. scrubbing beads or ground seeds), I like this product because the fruit acids in the wash actually help remove dead skin. It's hard to tell when you use it on your face as it is a slimy gel that goes on and washes off very smoothly. However, I discovered its effectiveness when I used it once to smooth down the razor bumps on my underarms. As soon as I started to rub it into my skin, the dead skin rolled right off in little clumps. I have never had this effect when using this product to wash my face. But it does happen every four or five times I use it on my underarms. I assume it is because the skin there is tougher/thicker than on my face. Now, I'm not saying that my underarm skin is baby smooth after I use this product, but I do feel like it must be helping if the dead skin is rolling off. When I use this product on my face, it smells kind of grapefruity and my face is definitely soft afterward. I have only been using this product for about a month or so, so I cannot attest to any long term effects. But so far, I love this wash!
