They definitely pick up HUGE amounts of dust and even though I vacuum with my Oreck at least once a day ( having four young boys I have no choice), these still do an incredible job. Although I consider my house to be extremely clean, I am repeatedly amazed (and slightly disgusted!) to see how much dust I am missing. These sweepers cannot be beat for getting under beds and other furniture, places my Oreck just can't get to. I love it for bathroom floors too. The only downside is that the cloths are a little pricey, but the bargain brands DO NOT work as well. So, I generally go around the house and use the cloth as a duster first, then attach it to my sweeper and do the floors. That works well, and I feel I'm getting my money's worth! Swifter does not make a long single sheet which saves time and hassle of applying two smaller sheets each time. Same with the wet mop size. For this reason, I cannot give five stars. Bummed. Tried other fragrances but still do not like. Is there a more mildly scented or unscented product? I love how they pick up all of the little particles that a typical broom misses and they are perfect for picking up all of the hair from our cats and dog! It is amazing how much hair, lint, and dirt is left behind after traditional sweeping, this product is a "catch all" and my floors are much cleaner after using this product. Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Pad Refills, 32 ea: The best think about the Swiffer is that it's so quiet...sound silly, but I used to vacuum the kitchen or dining room floor after every meal, and all I'd ever hear is, "do you have to do that now, I'm watching" blah, blah, blah....now that is not an issue...I use my Swiffer all the time and vacuum when they're asleep or out! Thanks Swiffer!
