This product works as it says it does. I have two stray cats that are outside all the time and I use this on them and it keeps them flea free. I would recommend this to other pet owners.

This product is great if you use it as a flea prevention medicine or upon early detection of fleas. It prevents the fleas from reproducing. Also, it is safer than using chemicals. Until the most recent use, I have always had excellent results. Fleas are under control within 30 days or so. I just continue giving it to my cats every 30 days until flea season is over. However, this year I waited until the flea infestation was severe, and it is taking longer. It may be best to use this in conjuction with a one-time chemical treatment under a circumstance like that, which I have not done as I am very leary of using chemicals for the safety of myself and my cats.

PROGRAM® (lufenuron) Suspension is administered by mixing into a small amount of wet food. To ensure complete absorption, always give the cat its normal meal after dosing.
In multiple cat households, each cat should be treated separately to ensure adequate dosing.
PROGRAM Suspension has no effect on adult fleas, but controls flea populations by breaking the flea life cycle at the egg stage.
Treatment may begin at any time of the year and should continue until the end of the flea season. If there is a risk of exposure to fleas year-round, then treatment should continue the entire year without interruption.
It is important to treat all cats in the household with lufenuron suspension or tablets. Dogs in the same household should be treated with lufenuron tablets.
PROGRAM Suspension must be administered monthly, preferably on the same date each month.
