A friend recommended this dryer and I love it so much better than my last conair ion dryer, I can't believe it! It is very light weight, has a design that isn't too long and easy to use on my long hair that needs dryed daily...but best of all, it dries without leaving my hair frizzy. I have a thick head of very fine, straight hair, which dries with a little frizz (oddly) if it dries on its own and this is the first dryer to alleviate 100% of the frizz - love it!

The second time that I used this blow dryer, it melted the bristles on my hairbrush and burned off the entire section of hair attached to the brush. I was shocked! My hair was wet, and I had only been using the dryer for a few minutes. I can only imagine what would have happened if my hair were dry, or I had been using it for a long time. Michael Jackson redux! Reading the other reviews, it seems chances are high this thing will overheat. Probably should be recalled.

This dryer works fine, except not on fine hair. I have used it and had to push the cold shot button almost constantly to keep mine and my daughter's scalp from being burnt too.

I love this hairdryer; gentle, efficient, and just great overall is how I would describe this dryer. I use a soft diffuser along with it, and it works well. Sometimes cheaper products DO work as well or better as higher priced ones. A+ from me. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

This dryer was working fine when I first purchased it a few months ago (although, I didn't feel it was as powerful as it should have been). I also noticed electricity was crackling through the side vents. I thought it was supposed to look like that because of the "Ionic" feature. Then the other day, just as I was half way done drying my hair, it started spewing cold air. I was highly upset. It hasn't worked properly since.

Pros: -Good cord length -No frizz -Quiet -Cheap- Cons: -Function switches are poorly designed. -Barrel is too long and if you are using the concentrator you have to hold your arm out to far. -Heat is not hot enough. -Dryer does not put out enough air even on high. -Took longer than average to dry my shoulder length hair. -Made my hair flat and greasy feeling. -Cheap
