I thought for sure the dress was ruined and I would have to return to the hotel to change. The winery brought me a container of wine away and I was able to remove almost the entire spot -- enough that I could wear the dress for the rest of the day and the drycleaner removed the rest of it. I still can not believe how good this product is.....(and no I am not affiliated in any way with this company). Cons Best Uses Comments about Wine Away Red Wine Stain Remover, 12 fl oz: My wife and I are people who enjoy a glass or two of red wine in the evening before bed or at dinner. We have light beige carpet everywhere and have several times, had major spills of red wine on carpet which would completely ruin our carpet. Some spills have been major!!! Wine Away will remove those stains and save carpet or clothes but to be most effective, it has to be used immediately. We keep a large supply of WineAway in the utility room. If you use it immediately, it will completely remove the stain. It is not as effective, but still very good, if the stain has dried. This product will save you hundreds or thousands of dollars in carpet repair/replacement. It is truely a "life saver". Highly recommend.
