How To Operate Your Cordless Curling Iron / Styling Brush:

1. Push the button to open the carry case.  Remove the curling iron and cartridge from the case. Remove the protective cap from the cartridge. Do not discard. Keep in carry case, so that it can be replaced on the cartridge for storage.  Press the "Push Off" button make sure the curler is off.
2. Insert the threaded end of cartridge into the curling iron handle. Turn cartridge in a clockwise direction until it stops.  Make sure the switch is OFF until you are ready to use the iron, or you will waste butane.
3. This curler comes with the styling brush on the barrel so it is ready to use as a styling brush.  If you wish to use it as a curling iron, pull the brush off thee barrel while the barrel is cool.  The brush can be replaced anytime that the barrel is cool.  The curling iron can be put in th carry case anytime, hot or cold.  Do slide the styling brush over the barrel before storing the curler in the case.  Before placing the curler in the carry case, remove the cartridge, replace the protective cap, and put the cartridge in the case.  Then, make sure that the switch is off "Push Off" and place the curler in the case.
4. When you are ready to use the iron to curl or style your hair, press the "Push On" button. Wait 5 seconds then press the start button several times.  You may hear a slight popping sound as it starts.  Look in the circular window in the end of the cool tip.  If the curling iron is heating, a glowing wire will be visible.  If not, press the start button a few more times.  The curler will be ready to use in one to two minutes. 
5. After you have finished curling your hair, please remember to press the "Push Off" button to turn the curler off..
