I have used this for about a year...I have very curly african american hair and I can't say that I really like it. I feel that it is very drying on my hair. The one pro that I would give it is that it gets my scalp clean. It isn't worth the price tag.

Gentle, Refreshing smell, easy to use since I'm sensitive to strong perfumes. My hair is often permed, and I've found that this is good to use frequently, without drying out my hair.

I'm an african-american female, and I finally decided to take a break from the weaves/braids/extensions, or whatever you want to call it. So around May 2009, I went to my local hair salon, and of course Biolage was used on my hair. I didn't know it at the time. So this past week again, i went to get a touch up (relaxer) and was just making casual conversation with the "shampoo" girl. I asked her what is a good shampoo/conditioner that I could use while at home. And she told me that at that moment she was using Biolage for my hair, and that I could purchase it at my local [...]. I bought the shampoo/conditioner/ tonic, and the medium holding mousse. So far I'm using the mousse and tonic. No need for me to use the shampoo and conditioner yet, being that the salon did it not to long ago. My hair is still soft, fluffy, and full of bounce. At night I just wrap my hair up. Sometimes i use my instyler to put some curls to my hair. I suggest to anyone to get Biolage. I love it, and haven't even tried it on my own yet.. lol

I was expecting great things after reading the positive reviews. NOT!!! My hair does not do well with this shampoo at all. It leaves my hair limp and I cannot style it.

I was advised to try using a salon shampoo and conditioner to improve my thick, frizzy long hair. So I went in search of one with great reviews and that isn't tested on animals. I tried this one with high hopes, but it's been quite a let down. The first thing I noticed is that it has that salon shampoo smell. I don't think that's a good thing! It cleans my hair well enough with little residue but that's it. It simply isn't anything special. It's not worth the extra money and does nothing that the average drugstore shampoos don't do. Once I finish the bottle, that's it for me. I highly recommend just trying out a sample size first.

This is one of the best shampoos I've ever used. I don't use conditioner because I don't need it. My hair feels soft and I don't have any split ends.

I used to have very dry hair before I was recommended to use this product. It has been working well on my hair together with the smoothing conditioner and now my hair is healthy and sometimes pretty silky. I would buy again.
