I had the same problem as another reviewer. My hair looked like I hadn't washed it in weeks after using the shampoo and conditioner. It was much too heavy. I also thought in the beginning that I hadn't rinsed well enough. I asked a trusted friend if she thought my hair looked greasy and she said yes. I immediately stopped using the shampoo and conditioner. If you have dry hair, this may work for you.

My hairstylist recommended the Sleek.look line to manage my unruly curly hair. I absolutely love it! I've noticed that a little goes a long way. You end up with oily-looking and greasy-feeling hair if you use too much. I like to straighten out my curls, so my stylist suggested drying first -- either by air or by blow dryer -- and then running a flat iron over it (ONCE!). After years and years of searching and trying to get that "perfect straight," I've finally found it. My hair is straighter and tamer than I've ever been able to get it using other products, even in high humidity and rain!

I tried the shampoo/conditioner together on advice from my hair stylist. It left my hair SO greasy. I wondered if I wasn't rinsing well enough so I tried it for a week in hopes that things would change. It was worthless. This stuff is excellent. I have really long hair and this is the one thing I can use on my hair and count on it to clean, moisturize, and do the job all around. My hair is still shiny after months of use, and it's super silky. I also use the Sleek Looks Conditioner and the Styling Creme. This set is awesome! People with long hair will enjoy this product!

I can't say enough great things about Matrix products! They always come highly recommended by professional stylists and I have to agree that they're phenomenal! I have thin hair that has a tendency to get flyaways. I also use Amplify and both of these product lines work magnificently!!
