Great product, but ...

Great product, but unfortunately - for some unknown reason - I always (ALWAYS) get the hiccups when I'm washing my face with this stuff! Other than that, it does leave your skin feeling clean and not too dry. There are tiny abrasive beads suspended in the liquid that scrub off a layer of dead skin, so only use it a couple times a week!

I am 28 and have had acne since I was a teen - the "nodule" type that just kind of forms a small lump under the skin and then turns red and unsightly. This is the first thing I've tried that made any difference in preventing those. It's not a magic bullet - I still need to use benzoyl peroxide - but the first step in any regimen is to clean your face and clear away dead skin, and this does a very good job. Use in conjunction with the Nivea face wash, as per the directions.

Nivea for Men is without a doubt definitely a great company. Their men's line is innovative and dedicated to the needs of men, without making it seem too feminine. This scrub is perfect for getting away dead skin cells and rejuvinating the skin, because of which you will see a dramatic effect with less acne, ingrown hairs, and smoother healther skin. It's my husband's favorite scrub. Once I bought something else (a more expensive brand) for him, and he was completely upset, so I just keep buying this one. I must admit his skin looks really good, so I guess it works, and it's cheap, so it's a keeper.

I wish I started using this product along time ago. I have had serious issues with breakouts on the sides of my nose and forehead which ultimately required antibiotics to clear up. I started using this product and eventually stopped using the antibiotics. Go figure. Haven't had a breakout since I stared using this scrub along with Nivea oil control lotion. I also definitely agree that it makes your face feel fresh and clean. Great product.

Of all the products that I have tried - this is by far the best! I have a tendency to get a very oily forehead - and this seems to not only clean the pores well, but I can go a few days without the oils returning. I only use this every 3-4 days, but does the job great!!! Nice clean scent, and moisturizes well to, without the oil! I recommend you at least try it.

My boyfriend loves this product, and I have to admit, I love it to. It makes his skin so smooth, and has really helped clear it up. He uses it in combination with a treated wash. First he uses the scrub, and then he does a quick wash with a benzyl peroxide treatment. I even sneak a use of this scrub sometimes. They need to make a similar product that is scented for women. Try this product!
