I have never felt confident picking up heavy items from the over with mitts because of fear of dropping. I saw the these gloves and decided to try a pair of them. They are excellent. I don't feel the heat and I feel secure that I'm not going to drop anything. I sent a pair to a friend who does much more cooking and baking than I do and she felt the same.

This is a fabulous product. Oven mitts are always so bulky, I can't pick anything up. I have a drawer full I've tried and none really work. With potholders, I invariably burn some part of my hand or wrist. I used this for the first time Thanksgiving, having to take the turkey 25 lb. in and out of the oven every 15 minutes for the last 1 1/2 hours to baste, and I'm happily burn free. I have arthritis in my hands and for some reason The Glov made it easier to work with the handles. It is easy on and off. You do have to get your fingers in the slots, but I didn't find it difficult. Fit me perfectly and my daughter, who has really big hands, but I would think if you have small hands, it might be a bit bulky. Fabulous product. Do need to buy 2 if you are using for taking heavy items in and out of the oven.

These are a great product. My boyfriend does most of the cooking and he was thrilled to get his second pair that included the silicone. The dogs chewed up the first pair. We both love them and would recommend them to anyone. In fact I put a pair in my Moms stocking last Christmas. She loves them!

I received a pair as a gift just before the holidays. I can't figure out how I lived so long in the kitchen without them! I am purchasing another pair for when I wash the current ones. I also will have one at the grill outside so my husband ends the burned fingers. Wonderful product. And well worth the price.

I just bought the gloves with the silicone stripes, I have small hands, and they seem to fit better, conform to your hand. I had the old ones without the stripe; I never was burned while using them. And you DON'T need a right and left, they fit either hand! You just have to be careful if you get them wet. I don't know how anyone cannot love these. I will never buy another oven mitt. Who cares what they look like; my hands no longer have burn marks! Excellent product!

I bought the OveGlove as an impulse purchase, but I found that it works just fine. I bake lots of cookies and handling the cookie sheet straight out of the oven is a cinch with this product.

I loved the idea of the glove and it does do a pretty good job, but it would be better if they came in small, medium, large, or extra-large. I have very small hands, therefore, the glove won't stay on. The gloves should also be sold in pairs with a right and left hand distinction, they would then fit properly.

I have numbness in my hands and a loss of agility, but this Ov glove works great for me. I do, personally, have to use two (both hands), but a "normal" person could probably get by with one. Regardless, the fingers give you a lot of control. No, you can't hold a 475 degree pan for 20 minutes, but taking a pan out of the oven and carrying it to the counter, i.e. normal activities associated with baking, I do not feel the heat. I feel warmth, but not a burn. I use this glove to remove hot light bulbs and to open the dampers, or to remove the water pot from the wood stove. Now THOSE are hot! I highly recommend these gloves.
