I use two Chillows as one will heat up by the middle of the night, so I can swap it out for the cool one when a hot flash hits. The Chillow does slide around a little. However it's worth it. It keeps me cool during the really hot summer nights and helps when I have a hot flash. It does need monthly maintenance - adding more water, burping the air out. I was lucky and got a 'Buy one, get one free' deal. This was a replacement as my old Chillow (lasted three years) got too dried out.

I have trouble staying cool at night and the Chillow helps me sleep uninterrupted. It is comfortable and so cooling. It is as much a part of my bed as sheets and pillows. Would highly recommend it.

This pillow never cooled to begin with, even after activating it correctly. The worst part was the horrible plastic smell that filled our bedroom and gave us a headache. There is no way anyone could possibly sleep on this without getting ill. Just handling it left a plastic odor on my hands. We vacuum sealed it and returned it. Great idea, poor manufacturing.

This product is used by my husband who has always had a problem in the summer being too hot to sleep. Since he started using the Chillow, the nights have been filled with a lot less complaining! I tried it a couple of times for a few minutes and it definitely cooled me off. With my husband, it does seem to lose some of it's coolness by the morning when it's really hot and humid out (and in), but in general it's worth the money spent.

I bought 2 of these, one for my pillow when I sleep and night and 1 for my dog. They make a canine one, but they are much larger than I need for my dog. She loves it on a warm day, she lays on it to keep her from being to warm. I love the way it cools off your neck and head thus cooling off your entire body so you can sleep more peacefully on a hot humid night.

The pad inside the chillow moves around too much bends and moves out of the rectangular shape it is to be in and is next to impossible to put back to where it should be.
