Though this is cool and feels good, the water all pools at one end and gets lumpy. It's also leaked all over my bed twice. Interesting idea, but needs a lot of re-design.

The Chillow is great if sleeping on a stiff plastic sack is your ideal of comfort. This is a bulky, time-consuming device that is not worth the effort. Mine broke the first time I used it, the seam cracked and water went everywhere. I wouldn't take a Chillow if they were free, The Chillow is a terrible purchase.

I use the Chillow to provide cold therapy to my lower back. I put a hand towel over it and use it at bedtime to cushion and cool the lower spine, by sitting on it for about 20 minutes. Maybe it's coincidence, but I am not experiencing the usual lower back pain and stiffness in the morning. I've used it for about 6 months, added a little water to it, and smoothed it over frequently. If this one wears out, I'll buy another one.

I love this thing! You DO need to read the directions to set it up properly, and you definitely need to use it WITH your regular pillow - I just slip it between the pillow and pillow case, and it works great. My apartment, and especially my bedroom, gets uncomfortably hot in summer, and the Chillow has made my bedtime MUCH more pleasant.

This is overrated; it's nothing like a pillow. I think this flat vinyl "thing" is nowhere near being comfortable, especially with the big plug sticking out.

I love my Chillow and I am buying another today. I take medicine that makes me have hot flashes and this is a God-send. I refrigerate it for about one to two hours. I can't sleep without it! I highly recommend it to anyone who can't sleep because they are too hot. It's not perfect, but I haven't been able to find anything near as good. When it gets too warm during the night I just turn the whole pillow around and sleep on the opposite end. It's great!

The pillow does indeed 'chill'. What they don't tell you is that once you fill the pillow with water, it's pretty heavy. This is not an ideal product for someone that likes to smoosh his or her pillows for comfort.

This Chillow was a total waste of money for me. It was heavy, smelly, and awkward to use. It didn't stay cool, defeating the purpose, and it bunched up with use. I threw mine in the trash soon after my purchase.

It's a great idea and it does help keep you cool, but I tried putting it on top of another small pillow and had trouble with it getting bunched up. And, it is hard to flatten back out.
