I think you must have to be really, really hot at night to use this pillow. I live in central A/C but sometime during the night I start baking. I still thought this was TOO COLD to feel comfortable with against my poor head. I found a pillow that keeps cool without this stuff.

I bought this for my son, a US Marine, and a couple of other US Marines I know. If you can't think of what to send our Warriors this is great for the 130 degrees they endure in Afghanistan and Iraq. At least it is somewhat cooler then the heat outside. Some military has refrigerators at the FOB so they can keep them cool in there.

I am hot natured and when you get in bed at night it is nice to lay my head on a cold pillow. Only problem I have is it does not stay cold longer, but other than that it is great.

The Pillow by far served its purpose. It beats the heat for hot flashes and night sweats. I did have a problem with mine, although I think it was because I didnt store it properly. So I had to dispose of it. But I am here today to buy another one. A great value at this price. Enjoy!

I purchased these for my entire family a few years ago and none of us liked it. I was pregnant at the time so I wanted something to help me stay cooler. I found the weight of it to flip my pillow, it bunched all around, it was either too cold or I couldn't feel it at all and it slipped off of the bed a bajillion times. No fun and we threw them all in the trash after about two months.

I love it! It's like everything else; you have to take care of it for it to be beneficial to you. I keep mine in a pillow case right next to the bed. When I'm looking for a cool spot on my pillow, I grab my Chillow and I'm off to sleep again. Great pillow.

Product is not as good as I expected. It bunches up often and it can't be put inside a pillowcase with a pillow. If I put it on mattress under the pillow I don't feel any cooling unless I keep flipping the pillow, which means I am still waking up all night.

I LOVE my Chillow and never travel without it (keep it in a blue pillow case so I do not forget it amidst the bed linens at various places I spend the night). Yes, it works for hot flashes and has made my life so much nicer-- no more drying my hair during the night and having to change gowns - and sometimes the sheets.

If you follow the directions carefully the bunching is not a problem and if it does bunch the directions tell you how to handle it quickly. I love my chillow its great for cooling me off and I've had the opposite problem I can't sleep on it the whole night cause I get too cold. I put it inside my pillow case on top of my memory foam pillow and have had no issues with it bunching and moving. I also keep one in the living room for when I'm watching TV. I'm buying another one for my Shih Tzu's as they love laying on it when its warm outside.
