NonyX® Nail Gel is appropriate for use on toenails and fingernails. Apply gel directly on the nail. Do not rub or brush it in, as this will only disperse the gel off the nail. Try to confine the gel to the nail surface only. Gel will not penetrate through nail polish, but may be applied prior to using polish twice daily. Softening of keratin debris and improved color may be seen in 3 to 4 weeks. Look for improvement in overall nail appearance in 6 to 12 weeks, depending upon the original appearance of your nail.
Keep the gel in your bathroom or at your bedside and apply morning and night, especially after showering or bathing. Some gel may also be transferred to an empty nail polish bottle for use when traveling, at the gym, or as a convenient supply by your bedside. This 4 ounce bottle is a 3 to 4 month supply, depending on the number of nails receiving daily applications.
Once keratin debris is removed, apply NonyX Gel three times weekly after bathing to keep nails looking clear and attractive.

This product will seem like a miracle if you've had discolored nails for a long time and nothing else has worked. It works fantastically, but you need to use it properly. The most important thing is that you absolutely must apply it at least twice per day. I tried it once per week, then once per day, each without much success, so the twice-per-day instructions on the bottle aren't there just to make you use up the product so that you can re-order; twice-daily really is crucial for the product to to do its job.
Secondly, I believe that it's most important to apply the gel along and under the cuticle, since that's where new nail grows from. Pull back your cuticle, if you can, while you're applying, so that you get the gel as close to the nail source as you can. Put the gel all over the nail, but really focus on the cuticle, which is most important. When you're done, don't put socks on for 10-15 minutes, just to make sure that it has some time to sink in before anything threatens to soak the gel up. Finally, with really stubborn nails, try to add a third application, if you can remember, just to increase your odds.
Be prepared to repeat all of this for months. Toe nails grow very slowly. It can easily take 3-6 months for them to go through an entire cycle. By doing what I've recommended, you should, after a few days, be able to spot a very thin line of clear nail right at the cuticle. Over the next days, weeks and months, you'll see it move toward the tip of your nail, leaving clear nail behind it. Even then, continue applying gel at the cuticle to ensure that the fungus never returns.
This product does its job really well. Don't be scared off by the price. It's worth every penny because it's so effective and because the bottle lasts a really long time. Just be prepared to commit yourself to applying it frequently, properly and over many months. It'll work like a miracle for you if you do.

So far, this is the most effective toenail fungus remover that I have tried. I've had a fungus problem for almost 10 years and tried all kinds of topical treatments until I found this one. It did slowly clear away the discoloration and thickening. Unfortunately, it comes back if you stop using it. Now I've taken to applying it at least every other day to maintain somewhat clear nails (although still not as pink and perfect as people who have never had a fungus infection). Maybe it has a more permanent effect for people who treat their infection right away. For people that have suffered with this problem for a long time, this isn't the cure-all. But at least it makes things manageable.
After 30+ years with nail fungus on my right foot toenails, and trying every possible product made. I tried nonyx. It did take several months (maybe 6) to fully work but I can actually say I almost have completely normal nails. Its easy to apply and no foul smell. Rough up the nails a bit with an emery board to get better usage. I am very, very happy with this product and would highly reccomend it to anyone who has tried everything else for toenail fungus. It will be the last product you will ever have to buy for the problem.
It is always better to use NonyX before your nails have fungus. If you have any chronic health condition that could make your nails susceptible to fungus, take action before you have a serious problem. It will help regardless of the severity of your toenail fungus. I have used it for many years to prevent toenail fungus.
I have only used this product for about 10 days. I use it on all my nails as I have had nail problems for 25 years:( I apply it twice a day on the toenails; often only once a day on my fingernails since I wash my hands often. I have found that the junk under my nails CAN be scraped off without damaging surrounding areas. I don't know if this will be the miracle I've been looking for, but if I can just manage this problem, I would be happy. Glad to have NonyX!
The strong odor goes away pretty quickly. Another user commented that it is the same to use vinegar. While vinegar is much cheaper, who wants to soak their feet in it twice a day. This works great when taking a break from pedicures. My toes were getting very yellow from constant polish use. You have to be diligent and use twice a day for at least 2 to 3 weeks to see a difference.

I have been using this as directed for a couple of weeks. I definitely am seeing improvement. As another reviewer mentioned, the main ingredient is really just a concentrated form of vinegar,but it does work! I would rather use this than some harsh chemical product. I let it dry before putting socks on; also use emery board on affected nails periodically to roughen the surface for better penetration as directed on the bottle. I do get some aching on one of my nails after application, but that is because it is working and I have filed down most of the nail prior to using this. It does what it says it will do and I am glad I tried it! It takes awhile, so be patient!
This product was recommended by my podiatrist when I had some trouble with a fungus on my toe between the nail and the skin (on the big toe).
I use this product faithfully twice a day and now after the nail grew fully in, the nail and skin are healed and my toe nail seems healthier.
It does take time but it is WORTH IT.
I still use it to keep my toes in great shape.

Used religiously for two months now....no difference whatsoever. This product was not designed for toe nail fungus removal, so I don't understand all the reviews stating it cures it. Very suspect, I think.

It works. It worked for me. My nails used to be disgusting. I got comments from women all the time that my nails were gross. I used this product for 2 months. Now I have nice nails. So. There it is.
Apply a thin coating (one or two drops) of NonyX Gel twice daily to the surface of discolored nails, and under the tip of thickened nails. Do not apply under nails thinned by use of acrylic nails. Allow gel to set for several minutes before covering with footwear. Always try to apply after bathing, showering or swimming. Using an emery board, gently roughen the flat surface of nails once a week to enhance gel adhesion. This bottle contains 4 ounces of NonyX Gel and should last 3 to 4 months, depending on the number of nails receiving gel. Look for improved color and softened keratin debris build-up under the nail in 3 to 4 weeks.
