I basically never write product reviews, but I had to pen one for Callex. I have used so many moisturizers, files, etc. to help my cracked heels and nothing really made much of a dent. The Callex worked quickly and quite definitively for me. I have extra-thick skin on my heels, so I use this every day at least once. To advance my results, I alternate with coconut oil for straight up moisturizing and I also use a new spinning file product (Pedi-Spin) every other day. For the first time since I was a teenager (and I'm in my early 40s), I have soft feet and heels! I actually can't stop running my feet over my legs as they are so smooth! This is a little pricey, but one jar goes a reasonably long way. Plus, for the results I get, I'll spend the money. Very happy with this product; just have to wear socks when putting this on as it remains sticky on the foot.

I applied this product twice daily for the first week, then went to once daily for another week. Now I only have to apply it as needed - about once a month. I live in Arizona, so my skin, especially my feet, are always dry & require lots of TLC. I no longer have to use pumice stone - no more sanding, buffing, torturing my feet. Callex is VERY soothing!

I really have soft feet now after getting a pedicure and using Callex Ointment for Callus for 3 days I saw a huge difference.
Now I use it once a week (Wednesday) and my feet are soft and no longer dry. The minty smell isn't bad either.

This didn't do anything for my feet, but I didn't do it for an extended time, either. Ended up buying Diamancel files (better late than never) which perform 100% better and faster than this ointment. If you cannot use files and could stick with the 2x day application, wiping with a rag regimen until who knows when, this might work okay for you. Sure wasted my money, though.

My cracked heels were painful and ugly! Afriend told me about this product--His father uses it to soothe his diabetic heels. I could tell a difference after the first use--My heels were and continue to be smooth. I highly recommend this product.

Being on my feet and active all the time and living in a very dry climate, I get really severe calluses. I have tried many products and Callex is the best product I have tried so far.No ointment or creams out there could cure calluses instantly, so don't expect any magical cure. What I like about Callex compared to other products is that it has a very pleasant, but not overpowering scent (it smells like chocolate mint), and it is not overly greasy or thick and pastey. I could put this on my feet and walk on my hard floors without slipping.I have used this along with a Microplane Foot File [@] (not to be confused with its inferior knockoff, the Pedi-Egg) with great results.Callex is also good for dry cracked skin, and cuticles on hands and feet. For those with lighter skin, Callex may discolor cuticles and dead skin (probably due to the enzymes), so if you plan to use it on your hands I recommend using it only at night if you are worried about dark cuticles.

I was hoping for a magic cure to the rough skin on my feet. Being diabetic I take very good care of my feet but have never found an ointment that will completely satisfy me. I have several brands, one from the VA, and in order for me to get any results I have to apply it several times a day. I was hoping for one that I could use daily. I liked the smell, and it was not too messy but it was not as "cure all" as advertised. Those with normal feet could well benefit from this product.
