I rarely iron or steam but was starting to get some clothes that needed special care. I used this steamer only three times before it broke--once on several dresses (it was okay and though not nearly as powerful as I would have expected, required going over several times), pulled it out again several months later for some capris that I always manage to "iron" wrinkles INTO if I pull out the iron, and then used it on a bridal gown and bridesmaids dresses for my sister's wedding (the only reason I'd give it ANY stars is because it was a lifesaver for that special day). But then a couple of months later I pulled it out to use on some delicate slacks, and there was NOOOOOOO STEAM. It was not blocked, so it seems the engine (which gets VERY hot and makes a lot of noise but to no purpose now) had gone kaput. I wish I'd tried it out again after the wedding, because it might have been within the warranty. I paid full price too!
