This was a complete watse of my money and I will hopefully be able to return it. The advert online says it is "dual voltage". IT IS NOT!!! Since I work/live in the Middle East, it was a pointless purchase. I bought it because I will be going to Italy to visit family and thought this would be great to travel with. Also, if it worked, to bring to the US when I visit. But it is going back if they will take it...personally, I would like to throw it at the drugstore[@] people.

Mine doesn't burn my hands and I have had it for years. It works as well as its price. You just have to make sure the water reservoir is full, let it warm up for a while and if you put it inside the garment with the steam stream facing you, the results are better. You also have to actually touch the steam to the fabric. It is not a big item, so it is not going to produce lots of steam, but like I said, for the money it works fine, you just have to know how to work it.

I've had two, and neither has worked longer than a week. Do not buy this product.

The steamer engine on the bottom gets very hot and the small amount of steam that should get out is somehow blocked. They changed the way steamers were made to protect people from burns, but if this is the result, Conair needs to go back to the drawing board. Cheaply made, poorly designed, and terrible customer service if you contact them. I wish there was a way to not give it any stars. Don't waste your money, invest in a good product.

This is a piece of junk, and what's worse is that Conair doesn't even repair them... which means my broken steamer will end up in a landfill because try as I might, I can't fix it. Never again, Conair.

This product only worked a few times for me and it was very weak steam that did not last very long. After a few times it stopped working. This product was a waste of time and effort and money for me. It certainly did not get any wrinkles out of my clothes. I kept it for a while, thinking it might work sometimes, but I eventually threw it out in the trash.

Not worth the money! This did not remove wrinkles from anything. Very disappointing.

The steamer quit on me far too soon. I was satisfied with the way it worked, but after putting it away for a bit, I started having trouble. The first time I thought it had stopped working, after about 10 minutes it miraculously started steaming. The next time, no such luck: all of the noises, etc., but no steam. A big disappointment.

This is a very poorly made steamer. I too only used it for most 3 times and it stopped having any steam. It just made loud rumbling sound and heated the steamer. Even when it was working, the steam sometimes stopped coming out. This is just very useless. I am going to buy a better brand. Conair brands are not that great.

Great little item! We take it along when we travel, but we also use it for special occasion clothes that can't take ironing/flattening such as rayons or high-polyester blend clothes. I also use it instead of an iron for slightly wrinkled table napkins that were creased from storage in the sideboard drawer, for cotton/linen blend shorts and capri pants that just need a touch up before wearing and my husband uses it to touch-up his dress shirts and his polo shirt collars. Plenty of steam on one fill, no spitting or leaking and I like the brush and de-linter it comes with. I use the matching garment steamer, sold separately at Amazon, instead of an iron, for really big jobs like tablecloths and fabric off bolts that I use for sewing, but this really is amazing.
