This body wash is ok, nice scent and formula, however it is way too expensive, and it did nothing for my recurring yeast infections. I've been getting y.i.'s for 2 or 3 years and nothing cures them. I was hoping this ph balanced formula would help but it does nothing, unfortunately. I'm still on the search.

It is the rare occasion that I feel so moved by a product that I have to write about it. Based on the reviews, I purchased this product. I have been using it for a year now. And it is a dream come true. My cronic yeast infections are gone, my summer prickly heat is gone etc. It has no scent but leaves you clean and fresh. Don't balk at the price because the tube seems to last forever. I'm buying one for my husband, maybe it can help his jock itch.

Beware that this product contains Nonoxynol-9 which keeps down mircrobes and may be why it is so effective against odor and infection...at first! But after using daily for 5-6 months I began getting more frequent infections and significant irritation. I looked up each ingredient individually online and Wikipedia's explanation of Nonoxynol-9 explained that frequent use may cause vaginal abrasions (look it up for yourself!!). My doctor said I had "chemical abrasions" from the wash. She did say that less frequent use might have been okay (like once or twice per week). I gave it 2 stars because it was an effective wash on the short term but I will never use it again after the long term daily use side effects!!!! Very Private should consider removing the Nonoxynol-9 or give a warning about daily use, I think!

I first starting buying "Very Private" over a year ago and have been using it every single day since. I used to get recurrent "bacterial" infections and I would get them treated with prescriptions from the doctor, but I would always end up getting them again. It was very frustrating. Then I found this product on the internet and I have not had another problem since then! Absolutely no irritation, smell, or anything! I can't recommend "Very Private" enough to anyone who has issues like this and I don't know what I would do without it. I will never use regular soaps or any other feminine washes again and I just hope they never quit selling this one!

Wonderful, light vanilla scent. Most soaps and washes irritate my sensitive parts, but this is the only thing that won't. So gentle, I have given some to my boyfriend's four year old daughter, who has extremely sensitive skin and is prone to rashes and itching. This clears up any irritations quickly. Great all over the body. Very low lather, but not greasy. It's perfect, and I recommend it to everyone!

I use this product daily in shower...I used to suffer from major irritation in the intimate area and I suffered from yeast infections as well and this product really worked. It is pricey though and continues to go up! For now I buy it b/c I only use in that one area, so it lasts for 3 months before having to replace.

I am very, very sensitive and I decided to try this product because of the great reviews. However, I did not have the same luck with this product. I can say that it didn't cause any irritation but it just did not clean very well and wasn't very comfortable. I do, however like the intimate moisturizer. If you are extremely sensitive in that area, I do NOT recommend this product. You should use "Sliquid Splash" unscented instead. It is the only thing that has worked for me.

I have suffered with vaginal odor for years, as well psoriasis and itching, both in the vaginal area. There was no medical reason for the odor, ie: infection. I started looking for a new cleanser, again, and read the reviews for Very Private on here. I purchased and noticed a difference after ONE WASH. After using it for just a few days, there was no more odor. None. Zero. Zilch. And after a couple of weeks, the itching and even the psoriasis are GONE. I know they can't make medical claims on this, but it honestly did clear up the psoriasis. I suffer from it in other areas as well, and am going to try it there as well. If you suffer from vaginal odor or itching, this is really worth a try. I will never use anything else ever again. I feel clean all day and have zero odor.
