I have combination skin all over my body and my doctor told me to use Ivory soap but this too irritated my very sensitive skin. Then my doctor suggested I use a liquid skin cleanser. I tried this brand and have been using it ever since (2003). People have come up to me and asked what do I use on my skin and are shocked with disbelief when I tell them. I buy this cleanser by the case and always have plenty for those that want to give it a try. I just love it!!!!!

This is a very gentle cleanser. It does not irritate skin. The brand name is almost 4 times more expensive and THE TWO PRODUCTS ARE IDENTICAL. This is great for old skin and new skin and everything in between.

I too have experienced the watered-down version. The last batch I got was thick, creamy, nice. The one before that was thin. My ratings are for the last good batch. To the product distributor - we love this product when it is good. Please do what you must to get consistent good quality. Thank you! btw, I've been using gentle skin cleanser for many years, I'm 50, and I consistenty receive glowing compliments from dermatologists on my skin.

As other reviewers have pointed out, this cleanser contains EXACTLY the same ingredients as its Cetaphil counterpart, but costs much less. It works just as well as the Cetaphil cleanser, too. I love how soft and clean it makes my skin feel.

After trying more pricey brands of facial cleaners I came across this and I figured for the price it was worth a shot. It could be my all in one cleaner when I am traveling and such. I put it in an empty pump bottle, few squirts on my hand on washed my face. My skin has never felt better. I did try to use it as an all over body wash and felt it was too runny for that so I will stick to my body wash. If you have sensitive skin on your face and sick of high prices, this might just be for you!

Use without water: Apply liberally to the skin and rub gently. The low lathering formula will gently clean the skin. Remove the excess with a soft clean cloth, but leave a thin film behind. Its emollient formula leaves the skin soft and moist.
May also be rinsed off with water if preferred.
