Instructions for a new low water usage toilet was not to use cleaning products containing bleach in the tank due to the fact it would deteriotate the flush valves etc. I found the Cling Clip on at a local big box store and purchased one. This cleaner deodorizer works in the bowl only. It leaves a pleasant scent (Marine) and cleans reasonably well. I only swab the bowl out with a brush about once a week. It appears that the stores in this area do not carry this product now. I should have bought a dozen, if only I had known.

These toilet bowl deoderizers are simple to use. They do not pose a problem for the plumbing system as some cleaners do. Once upon a time they were available at the grocery stores but not anymore. Drugstore.com is a great place to go to find those things I've incorporated into my home and have been happy using. Grocery stores where I live don't cater to the customer's needs anymore and pull products at will. Thankfully Drugstore.com is there to fill the void.

This product works well only on a toilet that will be used daily. I bought one for each of our toilets throughout the house. I found that if I used it on a toilet that wasn't used every day, a black build-up would form under the rim and the scent didn't work as well. I think this really works well on the toilets we use daily. It gives off a nice orange scent after every flush. I have bought more!

This product is supposed to clean the toilet but in mine it actually made it worse. It left an orange residue in the toilet bowl. I threw it away after a week.

They must have reengineered the dispenser because my family of four, sharing two bathrooms, has been able to keep just one unit in each going strong since summer. Or maybe how much water is in the bowl or how it's hanging affects the speed it flows out. As other reviews said - it's a nice fresh smell, not perfumey like the "mountain/rain/breezy" named things always smell. The solid citrus one smells like grapefruit but it's too strong, and the door has to be kept closed tightly to prevent the smell from drifting down the hall. I hope they continue to make this one.

While this smells good, after a short time the liquid runs like sludge down into the water andlooks unsightly. Where is the other solid product that Cling sold?
