It started off nice enough, but after a few weeks it really dried out my hair. I used it combined with the conditioner, too, but it was still very dry. I had to stop using.

This shampoo doesn't measure up to Aveda's product line which is usually very high quality. It's a adequate shampoo but nothing special. It didn't hold my color in any impressive way either. You can probably find something better...

I have a great deal of very fine hair. Most products--hairspray, gels, mousse--weigh me down and I suffer from flat head syndrome. This shampoo works for me. My color stays vibrant longer, and instead of my usual every other day wash, I can often push for one more day between shampooing. As for the smell--it's better than the funereal floral so often used in hair products, and it fades quickly.

I never noticed the color or quality of my hair coloring being extended. I get my hair colored every six weeks and still had to in six weeks while trying to use this product. It made my hair very greasy and weighed it down. Its smell is not pleasant, either.

I'll agree with the other reviewers who weren't wild about the scent of this; it could be improved, but it isn't offensive. That said this does a good job as an everyday shampoo for my highlighted hair. I wouldn't use it unless I had dry and/or chemically-treated hair because it's too rich otherwise, but you can't beat it if you do color your hair.

This shampoo is for dry colored treated hair. If your hair is not dry, don't use it, but it is wonderful on my hair. It doesn't leave my hair greasy by far and smells absolutely wonderful.
I buy it every so often as a treat, but can't afford it on a weekly basis.

Very good if you want a super moisturizing shampoo that smells good.
BUT your hair will be greasy within 24 hours and you'll get a lot of "Build up" and have to use a different shampoo to get rid of it after only 2 washes.

This shampoo doesn't measure up to Aveda's product line. It's a good shampoo, but I didn't see any difference with my color. The main problem I had with this product is the scent. It just didn't float my boat.
