This is absolutely the best to grab those difficult hairs that appear out of nowhere. Better than going to a salon and paying big$$$..the only thing better would be for it to come in its own microwaveable container

Easy to apply

This is the only wax that works for me. This gets most of the hair the first application (coarse & fine hair). I follow up with another application to get the missed hairs (if any). Heats up (melts) quickly. I use an old coffee cup and place in a sauce pan filled half-way with water and bring to a low boil for about 10 mins. Cool down to the right thickness (too thin will be too hot for the skin and too hard to control). I store the coffee cup with the remaining wax for next time. To help lessen the "pain", I apply some topical antiseptic cream about 10 mins before applying....wax removal is still uncomfortable, but much reduced.

Instructions say not to use microwave, but if the wax container is placed in a bowl of water (like a double boiler) it melts well. I use it on my face, and it does miss some hair; I just redo until it is gone.

There was a suggestion to use a crock pot to heat it and that worked beautifully. Still learning the easiest technique, which takes time to figure out. Very pleased with the product and the results.

Can not buy in drugstores anymore. Is a great product!

I've been waxing for over 20 years. Zip Wax is the only at home wax that works for me. I've tried a few others and they just don't do the job. The more you use it the easier it gets. With experience I've found just the right temp (I use a cosmetic wax melter) to apply and I know just how long to leave it on. If you leave it on too long it'll break apart and if you take it off too soon it'll pull apart and won't get the hair. After years of use my skin does not get as red anymore. I hope Zip Wax never gets discontinued!

I use it on my face - upper lip and chin. Works well Only wax product I have found which does the trick. Other products burn or are messy to use.

This product really works well. I put some of the wax block in an old coffee mug, heat it in the microwave to start the melting process, and then place the mug on an electric candle warmer. (I bought the candle warmer at a craft shop for under $5, and it's the perfect size for warming the wax in a cup.) It is far less painful than the electric epilator I was using, and the wax gives fantastic results - just as good as in the salon. I'm so glad I tried this product. Now I can get salon results in the privacy of my own home for a fraction of the price. Love it!
