Best Uses: Daily Use, Sensitive Skin

Bottom Line: recommended
I received this as a gift, and I was more than a little skeptical about it. When I finally used it though, I was so impressed, that I am buying more! I tried it out one night when I had a bunch of little pimples on my face, and by the next morning they were all almost completely gone! The only con I see with this one is that the smell is a little strong, but it goes away fast.

I use this product as well as my 18 yr. old daughter. This is one of the best products I have used with such great results! I definitely will continue to use this product! My daughter has had such great results, she tells me when to order again because "its getting low and I don't want to run out".

by Toni the Tired Mom[Verified Buyer] in Tobyhanna, PA on 10/20/09
Pros: Lightweight, Non-Greasy, Soothes Skin
Cons: Bad Smell, Useless applicator
Describe Yourself: Beauty Conscious
Best Uses: Controls acne, Daily Use, Sensitive Skin
Age: 35-44
Skin Type: Combination
Bottom Line: recommended
I had to remove the roller-ball applicator, which is useless. But, once that is done, the product is easy to use, and seems to be controlling my sporadic acne. I wouldn't try this product if you have severe acne--I don't think it's strong enough. But, if you have the occasional pimple, this should do the trick if you apply it once in the morning and again before bed. The smell isn't too great, but tolerable, and it seems to dissipate pretty quickly. Worth a shot if you have painful, occasional pimples like I do.

This works well in gently drying out pimples. Much better than BB acne line.

Pros: Eliminates blemishes, Smells Great, Soothes Skin
Describe Yourself: Beauty Conscious
Best Uses: Acne and Pimples, Blemishes, Oily skin
Age: 25-34
Skin Type: Combination
Bottom Line: recommended
I enjoy the licorice/fennel scent but for those that might not--it fades quickly as the product dries. This stuff works quickly. I will use the blemish stick two nights in a row on a zit and it will be gone. It's easy to use and doesn't dry the skin.
Burt's Bees Doctor Burt's Herbal Blemish Stick with Tea Tree Oil rates 3 out of 5 stars, from 150 customer reviews.Average treatment
by Jenjer[Verified Reviewer] in Texas on 9/28/09
Pros: Soothes Skin
Cons: Strong smell
Age: 25-34
Skin Type: Combination
Bottom Line: not recommended
I use this every now and then when a little flare up decides to come around. It is true that it has a strong smell but not in a bad way. Seems like a smell better as an oil diffuser for the bathroom. Anyway, after I apply it to my skin, I get a tingly cool soothing feel but don't expect instant results. When applied 3-4 times a day for about 3 days, the flare up is less noticeable. I feel this stuff just sooths irritation of my breakouts so my skin isn't red and poppy-like. I like the roller ball application but after several uses, it seems unsanitary to me, like tiny bits of my skin roll in the tube. That's gross, can't believe I typed thst.

Pros: Effective
Cons: Greasy
Best Uses: Pimples
Age: 45-54
Skin Type: Combination
Bottom Line: recommended
I bought this for my 13 year old son who has greasy skin only around the hairline and started to show some pimples. I applied this on the pimples, generally at night because it drips and smells heavily of mint, and in no time they disappear. I apply on his chest too and on the neck, wherever the pimple appears.
Burt's Bees Doctor Burt's Herbal Blemish Stick with Tea Tree Oil rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 150 customer reviews.THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS
by Margaret D (-:[Verified Reviewer] in Parsippany, NJ on 9/9/09
Cons: Strong smell of alcohol
Best Uses: Only when I have a zit
Age: 45-54
Skin Type: Normal
Bottom Line: recommended
THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS! You initially may not like the smell (of alcohol), but I dab it on the occasional zit sparingly usually at bedtime & sometimes wake up & like magic -- no zit! 1 bottle goes a long way! I usually travel with a bottle, because it's usually when I'm least expected to find that zit--right on my face--on holiday--just in time for pix! Check it out!!
Burt's Bees Doctor Burt's Herbal Blemish Stick with Tea Tree Oil rates 4 out of 5 stars, from 150 customer reviews.Fantastic but
by JJ[Verified Reviewer] in Orange, CA on 8/21/09
Pros: Lightweight, Roll on applicator
Cons: Bad Smell, STINGS, Small bottle
Describe Yourself: Minimalist
Best Uses: Daily Use, Enlarged Pores, Redness/ Blotchiness, Sensitive Skin, Uneven Skin Tone
Age: 16-24
Skin Type: Combination
Bottom Line: recommended
I like this product a lot! It doesn't necessarily get rid of pimple but it does reduce size significantly. It works well with the "underground" pimples! When applying, it might sting a little. Oh, and the roll on was a bit hard to work with because it seemed that the substance did not come through the roll on. So I shake it and the apply it, but when I do, too much comes out that it quickly runs down my face, so be careful and avoid it form getting into your eyes. The smell isn't the greatest but I can live with it.
