This product is great and extremely affordable. It stung a bit when I first applied it (I'm guessing it's from the mint), but went away quickly. It made my skin extremely smooth and reduced the appearance of a scar I had from a pimple that took forever to go away.

I tried the mint julep mask, and boy was it a mistake. My whole face is so dried out that I don't want to leave my house. I've been hibernating in my house for a week. I'm young, and if I could I would give it a -100. Please, please don't ever use this product. Just goes to show, when you get something cheap, you get what you pay for. This product is JUNK.

I don't know about others whove used this product, but for me, it makes my face so dry and itchy, and the skin on my cheek started to peel on the third day I used this mask.

Great for drying out pimples. The smell is nice and the bottle is very inexpensive. Best of all, it lasts forever. I went an entire year without having to buy a 2nd. This product made my skin look refreshed and improved the appearance.

I have used this product for some time now and I do recommend it. It has a couple drawbacks in that it can burn for a while until it dries (especially when you have just washed your face before applying), and their claim that it "rinses away blackheads" is untrue - no product can just rinse them away, they are embedded in the pores and must be removed. However, the mask smells amazing, applies thickly and easily and does leave the skin smooth clean.

A bargain beauty classic! I've been using this for years, and while I can't resist testing out new masks and pore-control products, I always end up coming back to the tried-and-true Queen Helene; it works as well, or better, than products twice its price or more! I've found that for maximum pore tightening, it works best if you leave it on longer than the suggestions on the tube; let the mask dry completely, and then leave it on several minutes longer until you see the dry clay over your T-zone or other trouble spots starting to look damp and dark again from the absorbed oil; then rinse off the mask as directed.

I am the biggest fan of the Queen Helene products! I have almost all their products. I finally got the Julep Mask, and OH MY GOD! It is amazing. I HAD large pores before I used this product and now I cant even see them!! Its wonderful! Very well priced for such amazing products! Plus it smells so good!

I heard great things about this mask, but the only thing it did for my skin was to cause a massive breakout of more than 20 red, inflamed pimples. I have NEVER broken out like this before, ever in my life. My friends and families were all shocked by my blotchy, pimple filled complexion. I usually get one or two pimples, sometimes a big cyst during certain times of the month, but never had a full face full of red, inflamed pimples! I think what happened was that the mask tried to draw out impurities, but only did it halfway so that it brought up all these pimples to the surface. I am traumatized!

The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because it's not *perfect*...but it IS great! I've added the Mint Julep Masque into my routine about 2x a week for a month and a half or so, and my overall complexion has improved PLUS I don't have breakouts nearly as often. I have rather sensitive combination skin, and it doesn't irritate me at all. I follow up with a non-greasy moisturizer because it does dry the skin out a bit, but with a moisturizer afterward it's not a big deal. I'd recommend this product to just about anyone.
