Besides all the uses that others have mentioned, I find that it is also helpful with insect bites. It seems to draw out whatever causes the itchiness, just as it draws out the oiliness from skin, or dries out acne. I have used this for years, but can't find it in the Boston area any more; also I much preferred the jar it used to come in; it was easier to use, and no waste, plus you could re-use the jar! Those are the only negatives I have about this product, and they're not about the actual product, just the packaging and marketing.

Works well for the price anyway....

It's worth the price, and the tube is huge, but the results are not dramatic. It has some ability to draw oil and build up from the skin and leaves skin soft, so it is really nice, but should not be over sold or pitched in the reviews as some over the top, awesome product.

I have been using this mask off and on for years and while it does not "wash away blackheads" it does help them dry out and decrease in size. I use this mask 1-2 times a week and I can see a difference in my very oily skin and whenever I feel a pimple coming on I put a dab of this on it and it dries up very quickly! This is a good mask to use and it only costs a few dollars which is a great combination!!

A co - worker / friend told me about this product because I still have flare ups on my chin and she said this would help dry out the pimples. She was right! I absolutely love this stuff! You can use a lot ( mask over whole face ) or a little ( just over one pimple ). After one use, I could tell a BIG difference in my chin. It wasn't as oily, decreased pores, and fewer flare ups. After seeing the difference in my face, my fiance now uses it. The only draw back is that it tends to dry the face out if you use it everyday. So, I use it every other day now after I exfoliate. This is a definate part of my regimen now!

Although I have had eczema the majority of my life, I have never had any major problems with the skin on my face. What I do have are tiny blackheads that seem to never go away no matter what products I use. I just used this product for the first time and I saw results instantly. Many of the blackheads are completely gone, others are much less visible. I plan on using this product every few days until my skin is completely clear. I LOVE IT. Of course, you can expect your skin to be slightly dry when you rinse it off. Just apply some moisturizer and you're good to go!

The stuff works fairly well to dry out pimples, BUT it is the biggest pain in the behind to get on the tube. I squeezed and squeezed and squeezed, and ultimately had to sit it down on a plate on the floor and stomp on the tube to get the stuff out! It was like trying to get out drying cement!
