I was intrduced to this product during a rather bad case of the flu. All the OTC medicine were unable to ease my body aches. I took a 15-20 minute soak and afterwards I was finally able to get some rest. I soaked three more times during that particular flu and achieved the same results. I now use this product just about every time I take a bath to enjoy the luxurious spa feeling I get when I do and the smoth, soft skin without the oily feeling. I was unfortunately quite disappointed. This STRONG lavender liquid smelled harsh and "chemical-ish"; I whole-heartedly agree with the other review that said it smells like floor cleaner. And just a heads up: this product has a watery liquid consistency just a like a floor cleaner, not like a typical thick, viscous, slow-pouring liquid soap. The aroma produced is extremely strong, and I can even smell it three rooms away in the den when my husband uses it in the bath. The strong lavender aroma does knock me out quite effectively, which is good since the bubbles (if you can call them that) last less than 5 minutes in the tub. If you don't care about bubbles and don't mind the chemical/metallic scent, then you should at least benefit from the strong relaxation affects from this lavender product. Comments about BATHerapy Liquid, Lavender, 16 fl oz: You can't beat the effectiveness, great aromatherapy and best price. This product is hard to find on shelves in stores now...use to purchase at [@]. I've noticed that another product line, a bath salt has filled the shelves. No. The liquid Batherapy, for me, has been the most effective for really relaxing sore, hurting muscles. Now, I am actually very sensitve to smells...I actually don't like the scent of Lavender unless it's mixed with another oil or it's a 'light' handed use of it. Somehow, this Batherapy totally works for me. The ONLY draw back, is I'm not a big fan of taking baths, because it raising my blood pressure, and I get very overheated...but most ladies, love baths, and I think will really enjoy this :) Enjoy! Cons Best Uses Comments about BATHerapy Liquid, Lavender, 16 fl oz: As others have mentioned, this isn't a bubble bath. It's better, as you get wonderful lasting aroma that relaxes and soothes, without a bunch of bubbly vanilla fluff. Great for aches and stressful days and whenever you need some me-time. I might be the only person at the local grocery to buy it, so it's on clearance and possibly disappearing. Glad to find it online. Comments about BATHerapy Liquid, Lavender, 16 fl oz: For a long lasting scent in an bath aromotherapy treatment this is the best product that I have ever tried. Furthermore, it does not dry the skin like most of these products can. Plus, it is extremely reasonably priced, costs a fraction of some of the products I have tried without success in the past. If you love a relaxing, scented soak in the tub, this is a must try product. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses
Comments about BATHerapy Liquid, Lavender, 16 fl oz: This product was not intended as a bubble bath nor as a soap. It would say so on the bottle. It is intended as a mineral rich therapeutic bath. If you read the ingredients, this product is rich in bromides, calcium, magnesium, and potassium; all the things found in sea salt (or the dead sea). These are all good for the skin and helps to draw out impurities that can cause skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis etc. The strong smell is a pure, natural lavender unlike the processed ones used like additives in common bubble bath. Think of it as a liquid sea salt bath. If you're looking for a luxurious, bubbly, per-fumy bath, get the fakey stuff in the mall. Service and delivery comments: Prompt, efficient service as always.
