Pros: High Quality

I enjoy the scent of the Lavendar Batherapy. I use it in my bath at night to help relax sore shoulders and muscles and to help me sleep better. It doesn't leave a residue or oily feeling like some bath products. Great price at drugstore.com
BATHerapy Bath Salts, Lavender rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 14 customer reviews.Best Bath Salts Ever
by Becca[Verified Buyer] in Temple City, CA on 11/6/08
Pros: Good Value, High Quality
Bottom Line: recommended
I have tried $20 jars of bath salts, and none come close the quality of BATHERAPY, and you can't beat the price. I live without an actual shower. I use BATHERAPY every single day when I 'm not washing my air. Sometimes I will use a small amount when washing my hair, because is softens the water which softens my hair. I love the tingle my body gets when I sink down into the tub. The lavendar scent is very relaxing.

by Winnie[Verified Buyer] in Fresno, CA on 10/22/08
Pros: Relaxing, Smells Great, Soothes Achiness
Best Uses: Bath
Bottom Line: recommended
If you work your muscles too hard, soaking in Batherapy will really help. I fill up my tub with nice hot water, add a generous amount, and just soak for a few minutes. It really helps me to forget my Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis pain and get a good night's sleep. A friend gave me a bottle and I have been using it ever since.
BATHerapy Bath Salts, Lavender rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 14 customer reviews.Miracle in a jar
by Miss Smilla[Verified Reviewer] in Alexandria, VA on 9/23/08
Pros: Lasting Effect, Non-foaming, Not gritty, Pain relief, Relaxing
Cons: Smells a bit
Describe Yourself: Dry Skin, Sensitive Skin
Best Uses: Bath, Foot soak, Pain relief
Bottom Line: recommended
Love, love, love this stuff, all varieties! I'd mostly overlooked it in the stores for years, thinking it was just glorified epsom salts, but I finally tried some on a whim last year when there was a particularly good sale price. I had a really painful case of "runner's toe" bruising on both feet at the time, and was absolutely stunned after my first use of the product -- one good soak in Batherapy brought me more pain relief than anything else I'd tried, and the effect lasted a remarkably long time. It's been equally helpful since then for all sorts of joint and muscle pains from sprains or overuse; I even like to add a small amount to my massaging foot bath for extra soothing relaxation at the end of a long day. Yes, it really is much more effective than plain old epsom salts! The only potential downside is the smell; while it varies a bit between the original, sport, and lavender varieties, they do all have a bit of medicinal odor, kind of like a mix of sulfur, Tiger Balm and Vapo-Rub. I don't mind it, but some people might find it objectionable. If you're not crazy about the smell, you can always try adding a bit of fragrant essential oils or scented bath oil to the water to sweeten it a little. Of the three, this lavender version is probably the least mediciney-smelling, and the "sport" variety probably has the strongest camphor/menthol/eucalyptus sort of odor; to my nose, the "original" is somewhere in between those two, so buy the lavender if you're worried about not liking the scent. But really, this isn't the stuff to buy if you just want a sensual, perfumed bath; there are plenty of other products on the market for that; this is for relieving aches and pains, and it does that quite nicely. I love this product as well as the other scents. Not only is the price right on this site, but it is the only product I've had success using in my whirlpool, that won't suds up too much. My husband doesn't like too many suds in the pipes either, so this is the best!!! I have been using it for 13 years.

I've been playing basketball for years, and never found somehting for tired muscles until I used this product. I've got my teammates using it, and they love just as much as I do. I recommend it to people young and old who are still active and want a quick recovery. Great stuff!!
