Ample amount of cotton on the tips....but the stick is plastic not paper and therefore not biodegradable--and a tad flimsy. But the good wad of cotton and the price make up for it. Overall, nice Q-tips.

Still on the search for the perfect cotton swab. I use them for ear care and makeup removal. These were ordered based on other coments/ratings on the Drugstore.com site. I am looking for strong stick, but soft padded tip that stays together and does not have a lot of lint. This swab did not have a strong stick; it bends very easily. Also, the tip while being soft and full on top, is too skinny. I will not be buying them again, but beacuse I do not want to waste them I have about 900 left to use :)

We have used these cotton swabs over others since I was a child. Now, with a family of my own..this is THE swab I use for cleaning ears, and for nail polish remover. They do not come apart, are the softest, and are above all, very safe.

The main reason I use cotton swabs is to wipe away any mascara blobs (especially in the under eye area) when putting on my makeup. And, these are great for that. Another use is for blending eyeshadows. These are also great for doing that. I didn't buy these for medical reasons. But, the wands are flexible. So, if you are using them to clean your ears (which I also use them for on occasion) then be careful!

I find myself using a swab or two every day for something or another - I consider it an essential. This package was a good value for the amount of swabs you get.

I usually by Q tips...wish I had. The stick is made of a slippery plastic and slides when holding it. Will not buy this product again.

This is a good cotton swab, but I won't be buying it again because it's unnecessary and wasteful to have the shaft made of plastic.

I use these swabs every day and I like them better than Q-Tips (almost double the price) or generic cotton swabs (the sticks are too flimsy and they don't have enough cotton on the stick). These are very sturdy, they never bend when I am using them, there is just the right amount of cotton on the tip so you don't feel like you're sticking a twig in your ear, and the price is right compared to Q-Tips.
