This soap is perfect for allergy-sensitive types (and the rosemary-mint also); vegan practitioners and health-conscious folks. It cleans super well, yet does not have excess lather or strong, perfumey smells. Great buy!

I had tried a friend's expensive oatmeal soap bar and loved it, so I guess my hopes were too high for this one. It didn't have enough evenly distributed oatmeal to do a good job exfoliating and I had to rub so vigorously that it kept slipping out of my hand. I have no idea why others have complained about the smell. I have always been very sensitive to cleaners, perfumes, air fresheners, etc., but I found this bar to smell very mild and pleasant. I guess it's worth the price for a guest bathroom!

Love this soap - love that it is all natural. I've tried other Almond scented soaps and this one is the best value for the money - it has a stronger scent that other soaps and has small pieces of almond in the soap which act as an exfoliate. I love this soap so much, that I stocked up when it went on sale, so I'm all set for a while now. Great deal and a great all natural soap!

My favorite soap was no longer available, so I thought I'd try this one. I ordered the two pack of each of the Rosemary-Mint and the Almond-Oatmeal. Both had very faint, but unpleasant scents. The Almond-Oatmeal has a weird, almost rancid oil smell to it! The Mint one does too, but the mint is almost strong enough to cover it up. Both suds up well, but I am thankful that my conditioner had a scent to cover up whatever is in that soap! I am stuck with one of each scent - I don't even want to donate it to the homeless shelter due to its smell. :-(

I've tried two different "fragrances" of this soap, and both of them are so devoid of fragrance that they almost smell musty. If you're hoping for something that smells like almond, lavender, vanilla, citrus, rosemary or verbena (whatever that is), don't buy this. Other than that, it's soap.

I ordered the soap hoping for the smell of sweet almond. It does not smell like almonds at all. Very happy I only bought the two bar option and not the large package. The soap worked well and had a good lather and oatmeal exfoliators.

If you really like strong sweet smells in your soap, then this is for you. Otherwise I'd try something else. It also didn't see to work well as an exfoliating soap. I expected more with the oatmeal. This is a fine soap for an older woman who dresses in frilly pink negligees and cares more about her nails than life in general.
