I suffer from severe perennial rhinitis. For years I took a prescription drug for it. When that drug became a non-prescription item, I looked for an alternative due to the price. I started using Alavert and found it quite effective. I felt it was easy to take and pricing was good.

Exactly the same as Claritin, but cheaper and better-tasting. I've always found loratidine to be the most effective OTC drug for allergies, but it seems to lose some of that effectiveness when it's a simple pill. The dissolving tablet does a lot more for me.

This worked great! I used to take Allegra 180, which for me is the best, but insurance stopped covering it so I had to try something less expensive. Zyrtec and Claritin didn't do much, but I was pleasantly surprised with the Alavert. Would still prefer the Allegra 180, but for the cost Alavert is a great alternative. I like the mint taste, takes care of my allergies and my breath!

I've tried Contac, Sudafed, Benedryl, Zyrtec, etc., and nothing works like Alavert. This is amazing stuff; I haven't had a sneeze, or itchy eyes since I started taking it! Decongestants alone don't work if what you really need is an antihistamine (sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose).

I love it! I've tried Claritin, Flonase, and Allegra to name a few, all with no luck. Alavert does it though. I have had no drowsiness. I don't get the full 24 hours of relief advertised though; I only get about half a day. I like it being dissolvable because it makes it easy for being on the go. The taste is very good. Overall, highly recommended.

These do the job, are much easier to handle, and taste better than the Claritin dissolving tablets. Also, the pill is not molded into the plastic, like the Claritin, so it is easy to get out. Minty taste.
