It's really chalky and leaves your face pasty white. I don't use it to an excessive amount, and somehow it actually made my face even drier than it was before. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I have been combining this stuff with Burt's Bees Carrot Toner (About a 2:1 ratio), and have gotten fantastic results! I have mild acne rosacea and hypersensitive skin from allergies, and I find that these two products together keep my skin calm, smooth, and radiant. I am very happy to have found a product that *doesn't contain Parsol 1789 (Avobenzene). That stuff makes me feel like I've rubbed my face with sandpaper. This sunscreen, specifically, seems to help tone down the ruddiness, it protects well against the sun (I live on a sunny, semi-tropical island), and best of all, I find that my skin doesn't need foundation or powder to maintain a soft and even texture.

I enjoy all the products from this line. (I have VERY sensitive skin with many problems). I carry this bottle in my purse. I use it on my hands, face, chest, and top of feet in the summer. It is thick and oily. May not be best under makeup.

I am really impressed with this moisturizer! I don't get acne after using it. It absorbs just fine if I rub it in well. It goes on with a strange color, but it goes away once absorbed. I wear it under my makeup everyday. I will buy again.

This product WILL NOT absorb into your skin... it may be effective as a sunscreen, but do not plan to use it as a daily face lotion. You would be better off getting the Eucerin q10 Anti-Wrinkle lotion (lower SPF, but a much superior product overall).

Chalky, hard to rub in, not terribly moisturizing for dry skin. It left a whitish-blueish tint on my skin after application! Truly ghastly. I looked like something out of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video. You have to wear foundation over it to return your skin to a normal hue. I'll save this for when I go to the beach, but there's no way I'm using this every day.

So far I love it. I had been using Cetaphil SPF-15, which made my face look & feel really greasy. I had been scared away from the Eucerin by complaints that it left people's faces white (I hated Purpose SPF-15 lotion for that very reason) but finally tried the sample my dermatologist had given me. It's great! Not greasy at all, it didn't make my skin white at all, and it didn't itch or cause any reaction. Fragrances cause me to break out, and I'm wary of chemical sun blocks too, but it's hard to find physical ones without the ghost effect -- this is perfect! It definitely moisturizes less than some and the finish is very matte -- but since I'm in my mid-20s and tend to have greasy skin, this isn't actually a bad thing. If you do have older skin, you might want the greasy Cetaphil that I hated. :) Or you might want to put a non-sunblock lotion underneath. Overall, a great way to protect your skin without irritating it. Looks & feels like you're not wearing anything.

I have combination skin and have used this product daily for a few years. I use about 3-4 pumps which is just enough to go on lightly and be effective. I've gotten to the point of feeling naked without it. I'm 39 and am often mistaken for being in my late 20s or early 30s. I believe my ongoing use of this product really helps me with that (I also don't smoke). I told my mother about it (she's in her late 70s) and she uses it now - she also likes how light it is for her. And a young friend of mine (24) uses it too so she can "look like me when she's my age." What a compliment!

Maybe it works better for someone with very oily skin. But for someone like me, with extremely dry skin, this moisturizer does nothing. I like the high SPF...but this product leaves my face with a thick, white, cakey film that refuses to spread! I look like a ghost and I absolutely regret buying this lotion.
